We recently stayed here for a “night before wedding” and reserved the outside area for BBQ. From checking in to checking out the staff were amazing and always on hand to help. The BBQ was brilliant and food/salad was so nice,again the staff were brilliant and we had a lovely night 👌 We were in room 6 and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The TV/internet was great and could watch highlights of F1 racing. Breakfast was also great, a choice of continental and full English which set us up for the day ahead. There is no onsite parking but free long stay parking just 5/10 minutes walk depending on fitness (there is also 1 hour free parking outside hotel for drop offs) What really makes this more than a 5 star venue is that due to taxi error, the amazing staff at the Ormond actually took the time and drove some family members to the wedding venue ( who arrived in good time) We would highly recommend this hotel for the service/food/comfort but above all else the staff working there! A huge thanks from the parents of the groom!

“Fabulous stay at The Ormond”

The hotel is centrally located, the staff were amazing, especially Jay, Sara, Sam, Dominic & Miles. We stayed in room 25 which is on the ground floor, which was absolutely lovely especially the double shower. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

My third time at the Ormond. Another pleasant stay in a comfortable and nicely decorated room. I like the Ormond for its smart decor and quality beds. “Average place that needs attention”

We booked our stay through booking. Com and the pictures make it look extremely good. The photos are old photos and show little resemblance to today. The whole place felt it needed a good clean. We booked our stay through booking. Com and the pictures make it look extremely good. The photos are old photos and show little resemblance to today. The whole place felt it needed a good clean. We walked down the stairs holding the banister and our hands were black at the bottom. The room was decorated nicely but the shower needed a good deep clean and water pressure was an issue . The bed was comfortable but we were surprised that they was no mattress protection and it felt funny sleeping on a mattress that the cover isn’t changed regularly. We ate breakfast but it was just average with very little fresh fruit available for the breakfast table. Our biggest bug bear was seeing the kitchen staff (male) going into the toilets and not hearing any hand drying , which we heard from other people going in. Did they wash their hands is the big question? The outside area is covered with a huge open sided marquee but it’s dirty and tatty . Overall we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Very disappointed
