“Comfortable stay”
Great hotel in the centre of town with small car park at the rear. We arrived on the Christmas lights up night and the atmosphere was lovely. Room was warm and comfortable.

“Very comfortable welcoming hotel!”
An absolutely charming hotel and bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff amazing! And the breakfast was delicious! Will definitely stay again!

“A must visit for locals and racehorse.”
A welcoming bar with a great range of well kept and presented ales. An excellent range of drinks including Bon alcoholic beers. Genuine bar staff and quick service, fair prices. A genuinely enchanting outside area which is cosy and was full of a welcoming community of good people.

“A Good Budget Hotel in Excellent Location”
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, free parking if available, great bar/beer, lovely outside and covered drinking area. Rooms a bit tired and mattress had seen better days but clean and comfortable. All in all, a great stay and fair price.

“Our visit here”
Called here early August for a 2 day break. Very friendly bar staff and the hotel is located in the middle of town which is convenient. However the room was very basic, plus the shower didn’t work which was frustrating. The carpet was not very clean either.
