We booked at quite short notice based on the great review we had read and we were so lucky we did. Caroline and Nick were brilliant hosts, everywhere was spotless and the breakfasts fantastic - they really set us up for a day's exploring. The very reasonable price was a bonus. We had Room 5 which is right at the top (up 3 flights of stairs) and has sloping ceilings so it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or anyone particularly tall but we loved it ... dual aspect with a sea view at the front and over the rooftops to the countryside at the back. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space too. The only drawback (as we had both windows open) was being woken by the Herring Gulls sitting just outside the windows calling at about 4.00 am (and man are they loud!) ! But it was still worth it. With Nick's help we were able to park right outside on Sunday afternoon and that's where the car stayed till we left to come home on Wednesday. There's loads of buses to all sorts of places from the main stop about 10 minutes stroll away, and several go from the stop just 2 minutes away! You can walk for miles in either direction along the seafront (which is flat, which is a bonus); the harbour/marina is interesting with a variety of craft from little motorboats to veritable "gin palaces"! You are spoilt for choice for restaurants, no matter what your preference, all within about 15 minutes walk, as is the town centre, so this B&B is in an ideal spot. We'd never visited Weymouth before but we loved it and will definitely return (and book only when we can get in here ...at least now we're retired we can be flexible on dates) - just because we didn't have time to do everything we wanted. Hold onto your hats, Caroline and Nick ... we'll be back!

“Weekend stay at the Seaham”

Nick and Caroline were great hosts. They even secured a parking place for us right outside. The Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was second to none. The location was perfect, and will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Had a lovely stay at Seaham. Comfortable room with exceptional attention to detail. Caroline and Nick are the perfect hosts. Breakfast choice was five star. Everything you need. Will be back.

We’ve just stayed at The Seaham for a few nights on our short break to Weymouth. Nick and Caroline were great hosts. Nick helped with a parking spot on our arrival. We’ve just stayed at The Seaham for a few nights on our short break to Weymouth. Nick and Caroline were great hosts. Nick helped with a parking spot on our arrival. Caroline makes the most delicious breakfast while Nick keeps it all flowing smoothly in the dining room. The room we had was really nicely decorated and super clean, with a sea view. Good en- suit with white fluffy towels. It was nice to have a small corner unit of shelves in the shower for shower gel and shampoo etc, this is often overlooked. There are lots of places to eat nearby and Nick suggested a Thai restaurant for us for one night, his recommendation was spot on. We will certainly visit Weymouth again and The Seaham is where we’ll choose to stay again. Thank you both for your hospitality. 😊
