Friendly family run place. Decent breakfast and wifi. Rooms are quite small and sound proofing is poor (you can listen to the conversations of your neighbours), but otherwise all very comfortable. Nice small spa - an extra fee of 15 Eur/hr - but the advantage is it’s quiet, kept in good order, and the steam room and sauna both good and hot. Plenty of parking. Very short walk to the lifts. You can ski down from the smaller Ciampac zone (black run) but you have to wait for the cable car down from the Sella side. When there’s enough snow, you could probably also ski down to Canazei and take the free ski bus (but not enough snow during our trip). Ski shop next to the lift has lockers for 6 euros / day if you’re too lazy to carry your skis the 100m back to the hotel. Would happily stay again.

“Dolomite dream”

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful ski holiday in the Sella Ronda, staying at hotel Villa Rosella. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better, with a very short walk to the lift. My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful ski holiday in the Sella Ronda, staying at hotel Villa Rosella. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better, with a very short walk to the lift. The facilities in the ski and boot room are excellent, with plenty of space for everything. Hotel Villa Rosella is a charming and characterful property, and we felt welcome throughout our stay. The bedrooms are cosy and comfy, and we slept very well. Meals were excellent, and the ladies serving the dinner were friendly and professional. A highlight was the “regional specialities” evening where the staff wore their “Trachten” and the chefs’ culinary expertise was on show. We’d love to come back!

Lovely hotel, which is conveniently located near two ski lifts. This is a family owned hotel, and the whole family is very caring. We booked with a total of 18 people, and a last-minute adjustment to 20 was no problem. They even provide you with snacks while you enjoy some coffee or cocktails in t… lisää

Lovely hotel, which is conveniently located near two ski lifts. This is a family owned hotel, and the whole family is very caring. We booked with a total of 18 people, and a last-minute adjustment to 20 was no problem. They even provide you with snacks while you enjoy some coffee or cocktails in the lobby. Only points of improvement are: *The sauna is a € 15 charge per person (for one time use), and unfortunately the hot tub was not warm enough. The sauna and steam bath were good! * When booking half-board, you are provided with dinner, where you have re-use your napkin from the day before. You have to put it in an envelope with your name on it, which is provided to your table the next day. But all in all, we have had a very pleasant stay at hotel villa rossa, and are happy with the service provided!

Lovely hotel with a 200m walk to the nearest ski lifts. The hotel is situated in Alba a short drive or bus ride from the village of Canazei. It is a family run hotel with a caring warm atmosphere. Everyone was kind and friendly and we felt well looked after. The boot room is good, the bedrooms clean and cosy, the dining experience very good. The hotel is well looked after and spotless. We had a drink in the bar most evenings before dinner, and then the bell is rang at 7.30 to call all the guests to the dining room. I found this quite amusing as I’ve never seen it before. Dinner is on the late side starting at 7.30, but I suppose this is an Italian thing as they are known as late eaters. There is also a wellness that we didn’t use and I believe you have to pay for this. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel. The ski areas and sella Ronda are amazing and absolutely well worth the visit for any level of skiing.
