“Traditional quiet ski hotel and fantastic value for money”

Very affordable, but one of the best hotels we've been to, for a ski trip. Overall excellent value for money. Great traditional Italian food and nice decor, and friendly helpful staff. Very affordable, but one of the best hotels we've been to, for a ski trip. Overall excellent value for money. Great traditional Italian food and nice decor, and friendly helpful staff. Quiet hotel and location. The buses are fine as never too busy even in half term. Skiing is excellent despite rather worn chairs and lifts.

Travelled with Crystal Ski Holidays for Christmas. Crystal's organisation was a little disappointing, but made up for by the Hotel and Crystal ski rep - turned into a fantastic holiday. On arrival we found there was no ski bus until 26th December, however the Hotelier very kindly resolved the issue by personally taking us to Gressoney-Le-Trinité, where the ski lifts were, every day. Food was excellent and service from the two waitresses was brilliant. Would definitely stay again.

Whilst this is a traditional hotel, rooms are very spacious and clean. Ours had a comfy superking sized bed. Whilst this is a traditional hotel, rooms are very spacious and clean. Ours had a comfy superking sized bed. Decor is slightly dated but the room had lots of storage for clothes etc and also had a key operated safe. Towels and bed linen were changed once during the week. Our bathroom had a bath and overhead shower. The water was hot but unfortunately our room did not have good water pressure so the shower was only a trickle. Other rooms had walk in showers and good pressure. The hairdryer was an old fashioned one fixed on the bathroom wall. This wasn't very powerful either. The food was excellent. Breakfast was standard continental (pastries, bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, cereal). A hot option was also provided each day of scrambled egg and bacon. Evening meal consisted of antipasti, first course of soup or pasta, main course and desert. Drinks were reasonably priced and very generous measures. Ski and boot storage is provided although this isn't heated. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. It is a short (10 mins) bus journey to the punta jolanta lift. Further to Stafal. The bus stop is outside the hotel, on the opposite side of the road by the police station. There is a regular free ski bus (marked Navatta). This is marked orange and red on the timetable. There are other buses but these have a small charge. Unfortunately the 0900 bus is a mini bus and was generally full so did not stop. We went for either the 0830 or 0920 as these were big coaches. Overall a good hotel with fabulous food and I would happily stay here again.

“Small things need improved”

Food was quite nice, though repetitive at times. Included some local dishes which was nice. Beware, each bottle of water on your table will cost you €4 ! No drinks tariff made available so end of stay bill was a shock. No signing for drinks to room, all a bit chaotic. Bedroom was OK, spacious and … lisää

No drinks tariff made available so end of stay bill was a shock. No signing for drinks to room, all a bit chaotic. Bedroom was OK, spacious and good storage space. Cleanliness could have been better in shower room, basin and bedside tables needed a good clean when we arrived. Location pleasant, close to ski bus stop. Found the buses fairly reliable. Village very very quiet, but attractive. Ski storage room was fine. Staff all very pleasant.
