We had a great stay here. The hotel is very clean and has a spacious room to store skis and boots with a heated rack warmer. Susana really made our stay as she was super helpful and lovely. “Excellent family run hotel”

Great family run hotel. Good sized rooms with large bathroom and plenty of storage. Spotlessly clean. Heated boot room downstairs. Great family run hotel. Good sized rooms with large bathroom and plenty of storage. Spotlessly clean. Heated boot room downstairs. Short walk to the lifts or free shuttle bus which runs very regularly. La Thuile is a lovely ski resort with the opportunity to ski in La Rosiere or take a free bus to Courmayeur. We did both but preferred La Thuile. Beautiful town centre with lots of good quality restaurants. Susana was an excellent host and made recommendations and reservations for us for restaurants. My wife unfortunately broke her leg whilst skiing. Susana was very kind and helpful and kept in touch long after we'd left to see how my wife was which was greatly appreciated by us both. We highly recommend this hotel.

“Fantastic little family run B&B”

I went to the hotel du glacier for a short weekend break with my son. From the initial communication with sussana everything was great. We had a very late check in so she arranged everything beforehand. The personal service at this B&B is second to none. A simple but lovely breakfast is served ever… lisää

I went to the hotel du glacier for a short weekend break with my son. From the initial communication with sussana everything was great. We had a very late check in so she arranged everything beforehand. The personal service at this B&B is second to none. A simple but lovely breakfast is served every morning and sussana is in hand to make you lovely fresh coffee. Nothing in the B&B is to much trouble. Very clean, comfy and warm rooms are serviced every day. Good shower with plenty of hot water. The ski boot room is convenient and has heated boot dryers and space for your ski kit. It takes 6 mins walk uphill to the side of the piste where you can ski down to the main lifts. You can finish here also at the end of the day. Easy car parking at the hotel if you have a car. Overall a little gem in La thuile with amazing personal service.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at Hotel Du Glacier (having stayed in the Plannibel Residence for the past 8 years) and yet again the service was second to none. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at Hotel Du Glacier (having stayed in the Plannibel Residence for the past 8 years) and yet again the service was second to none. Susanna and Corrado were always welcoming and on hand for any situation. She even helped us book reservations at restaurants during our stay. Breakfasts were a combination of fresh bread/croissants/fruit/yoghurts/cheese/meats/cereals with a drink of your choice eg coffee, cappuccino etc. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with maid service every day. There was a boot room to store and dry equipment. I stayed with my family and had yet another wonderful holiday. Thank you Sussana & Corrado.
