“A very good surprise”
Familly-owned 4-star hotel, small, next to the beach (one of the best crystal clear sea). Perfectly clean, spacious with large balconny, warmand smiling people, good breakfast. No competition in the area. Good quality/cost ratio.

“A friendly place by the sea”
I must first comment on how helpful the staff were in this family run hotel. My room had a small terrace looking across to Sicily and Mount Etna which was a bonus. “A nice stay”
Very nice hotel managed by family members. Very nice, clean rooms well equipped. The waiters are very kind ... no problem.. In the room WiFi air cintiniones.. the beach is across the street 3 min walking, not sand as in all coast. The sea is fantastic.

“Gardenia Hotel”
I think that we were likely the only couple at their hotel, but it was well organized. A pool, restaurant, very high tech lights and room security. Right across the street from the Strait of Messina and views over to Mount Etna and Sicily..

“Pristine no personality hotel”
A fairly new hotel directly opposite the straits with clear and close views of Mt Etna. Spotlessly clean, staff helpful, altho a little reserved, after the little family-run places we had been staying in. Our room was beautiful and the spa bath most welcome after a very long drive.
