The hotel is definitely recommended. Location close to the Vatican.Great service, very helpful. Delicious breakfasts. Delicious coffee. It smells beautiful in hotels and the rooms are clean. You can eat well in the area and there are grocery stores nearby

“Excellent stay at the Bloom Hotel!”

We booked the Bloom Hotel after finding it here on TripAdvisors. Our stay was perfect! It is a quick walk from the train station (not Roma Termini be sure to check train stations) and we were welcomed by Julia who helped us check in and gave us ideas of lots of places to visit and filled out a map … lisää

We booked the Bloom Hotel after finding it here on TripAdvisors. Our stay was perfect! It is a quick walk from the train station (not Roma Termini be sure to check train stations) and we were welcomed by Julia who helped us check in and gave us ideas of lots of places to visit and filled out a map for us. The room was two joining rooms. One with two beds and one with a queen. Both had bathrooms. They were very clean! Had a great coffee set up and an amazing balcony for coffee and watching the green wild parrots that fly all around, especially in the morning. So much fun to watch them each day. We loved the market down the road from the hotel- Carrefor. Breakfast was 8 Euro per person and it was delicious and we ordered cappuccinos each morning. My family enjoyed the game room with a pool table! The people in reception were kind and helpful. It was such a quiet hotel, about a 15 minute walk to sights and a two minute walk to the bus stop to catch the 62 or 64 to take you to see sights that were too far away. We loved the restaurants and gelato just a few blocks from the hotel. It’s an area with tourists and locals. Only issue was a leaky shower but let reception know and hopefully it will be repaired. If I ever return to Rome, I would stay at the Bloom Hotel! It’s a wonderful place!

“Don’t understand the inflated ratings”

The service was excellent, and everyone was very nice. But overall I found this hotel highly overrated. First off, the location is not great. Yes, it’s a ten minute walk to the Vatican, but difficult to get to and from almost anywhere else. What you don’t realize until you arrive is that the hotel is cut off from the city to the east and south. So even though it looks close to the centre of Rome on the map, it’s a long, circuitous walk to get there (or anywhere, unless you’re travelling by train through St Pietro station). It’s also a very quiet, and somewhat dull neighbourhood. The rooms were average at best, with hard uncomfortable beds, and not much space to store your things (very few hooks to hang things from, which is important in humid Rome). At the end of our trip we stayed one night in another hotel across town and I wish we’d stayed there instead of Bloom. It was in such a great, vibrant area with easy connections to the rest of the city.
