“Fully ok for one night”

We stayed in the hotel for one night. Clean room, great terasse, a couple of restaurants nearby, superb view on breakfast terasse, very friendly. We stayed in the hotel for one night. Clean room, great terasse, a couple of restaurants nearby, superb view on breakfast terasse, very friendly. Its not a five star hotel, but price value is really good. 100€ for a family of three, breakfast included. Thats fair. Breakfast is "italian" so dont expect an abbundand buffet, but you get fresh croissants and bread, with yoghurt etc. Juice was not my cup of tea, but I did not ask for a different one. Drawbacks: 1. walls are vey thin and you hear everything on the corridor 2. Aircondition consists of two portable fans. If you want a reasonable and inexpensive hotel for a short stay I fully recommend .

“Good price/quality ratio”

I like 5* hotels, I like campings, I even like to sleep under a tree and watch stars. And I also like the *** hotel Capri in Solcio. Why? I like 5* hotels, I like campings, I even like to sleep under a tree and watch stars. And I also like the *** hotel Capri in Solcio. Why? Well for a start they offer clean rooms with a great view on the lake. Don't expect the finishing touch of a Hilton hotel. Some walls could well do with a fresh layer of paint, the stairway hall is in for some refurbishing and the vents in the room might want to be replaced author airco. But even with these considerations in mind, the overall experience is quite ok for 75€/night breakfast incl. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The fact that we try hard to use our basic knowledge of Italian to express ourselves may help of course. Breakfast is OK. If you are used to spending holidays in all inclusive hotels, you may be used to having an extensive buffet. Hotel Capri keeps it simple with fresh bread, croissants, coffee, cheese, prosciutto yoghurt, juice and biscuits all served on the terrace with a view. I liked it very much. I admit I would not spend an entire holiday in Hotel Capri. For one or two nights, however, it is a nice place to spend some time. If you do so, go and have dinner in Da Gió. “Balcony view”

We were attending a wedding close by and needed a hotel for the night the Capri was just right and the price was reasonable. Room clean and wholesome. Balcony with view of Lake Maggiore. Bathroom ok but shower very tired. Good breakfast and nice people.

We had a room on the first floor overlooking the lake although the room was pretty average the balcony more than made up for it. We had rainy weather and with the last bus from Arona at 7:15 we spent our evenings enjoying a bottle of wine on under cover on the balcony. The breakfast was basic but… lisää

We had a room on the first floor overlooking the lake although the room was pretty average the balcony more than made up for it. We had rainy weather and with the last bus from Arona at 7:15 we spent our evenings enjoying a bottle of wine on under cover on the balcony. The breakfast was basic but adequate and request of more was always honoured. The staff were friendly and the lovely night-time porter speaks very good English too. Our only gripe with this hotel is the lack of public transport in the evening, you either had to go by car or stay in. We did walk to Lesa and Belgirate which was do-able but I wouldn't like to walk at night as there is no footpath for most of the way. We had a wake up call every morning at 7am as the churchbells started again but they were switched off during the night. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay again.
