Hotel Zum Goldener Adler is located on the edge of Klausen in South Tirol at 0,8 km of the railway-station. The hotel is family managed and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Free station-shuttle, Wi-Fi, sauna & fitness and parking. The breakfast is excellent. Built in 2003, Zum Goldener Adler has 37 rooms over 4 floors, and offers bed & breakfast. The hotel is charming and pleasant. You van enjoy a coffee or a drink inside or at the terrace. No lunch or diner. The rooms at the backside of the building have some traffic noise from the SS12 road. Our spacious room was nicely furnished and decorated, with a good double bed, a bench that can be turned into an extra double bed, TV, table with bench & chair, wardrobe & safe and in the middle of the room an antique Kachelofen. We had a spacious separate bathroom with toilet & bidet, bath, washbasin, and shower. All was perfectly clean. The buffet breakfast is very good: bread, rolls & toast, ham & cheese, eggs made to order, butter & marmalade, croissants & pastries, fruit & juices, cereals, milk & mineral water, tea & coffee. We found hotel hotel Zum Goldener Adler most pleasant & comfortable with nice sauna and we had a good stay. Highly recommended.

“Beautiful”

We greatly enjoyed our 5 day stay at this lovely hotel. Conveniently located for day trips to the Dolomites treasure driving and hiking areas, it is spotless clean with modern amenities and old world European charm,very helpful and friendly English speaking staff. All it has been just perfect: service, room, food, breakfast complete (continental and American) SPA wellness area, gym,, location and cleanliness On top of all it's not common to feel at home in a four star hotel: everyone was just incredibly kind and supportive! The Goldener Adler hotel is an perfect and rare combination of the facilities of a four star hotel with a friendly, and cosy treatment one usualy gets when visiting friends. We have liked the facilities, in particular, the spa area, and the restaurant. The hotel is located in quiet area which is very well connected to the main attractions of the valley. We have already booked a room for our next winter holliday and we are already looking forwward to go back.
