As others here have said, this is a small, family-run hotel with clean rooms, good food and an exceptional manager — Tanja — who speaks English and goes out of her way to help foreigners. The guests are mostly older Italians — many come to seek treatments at a spa at a nearby thermal park. But the surrounding area also offers hiking and fly fishing. The menu changes nightly and while the food isn’t gourmet, it’s quite good. Also try the homemade gelato shop down the street, which uses milk from a local farm. All in all, a great value.

At hotel Posta the owner and her staff truly want you to feel at home. This is a family own hotel in the center of the town Ponte Arche. The rooms are simply decorated, clean, with balcony. The lobby is very comfortable and spacious and there is also outdoor seating, perfect for summer days. A rich buffet breakfast is included and the staff is very accommodating if guests need to anticipate their breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant that offers typical Trentino dishes and the food is delicious! It is possible to organize excursions and site visits with the help of knowledgeable staff. The hotel is perfect home base for those planning to have treatments at the nearby Terme di Comano.

“Great value for money”

We got a hotelbox.com gift and chose this hotel because we wanted to enjoy the riva del Garda. At first we used Apple Maps (which I alaways use when travelling), but here it wasn’t working very well. We got a hotelbox.com gift and chose this hotel because we wanted to enjoy the riva del Garda. At first we used Apple Maps (which I alaways use when travelling), but here it wasn’t working very well. We couldn’t find the hotel (but we passed it on the way). Google maps made us finally find it and everything was good. Well.. we didn’t check that it is quite far away - but honstely it was a great experience. I like the ambience in the mountains and the bus and car rides. It was great that we got the Trentino guest card. We could take the bus and go to museums/ castles - so far so good. The only thing that influenced our experience was that the walls are thin and you could hear every thing and every one on the floor/next to you or even the washing machine. That’s why we had to take away two stars, otherwise it was a great experience and I would come back for fare passeggiatas. The breakfast is a Buffett and quite sweet. The coffee is good for hotel-breakfast-coffees. The service and waiters and receptionists are fantastic. Thank you for this experience!
