We had a great family stay at Hotel Schneeberg. The facilities are excellent and really make it a fantastic choice, especially for families. We travelled with our partner and 3-year-old, together with another couple with a one-year-old baby, and the hotel worked very well for this setup. The room was really nice - spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The only downside was the absence of a coffee machine. The facilities are definitely a highlight. The outdoor views are beautiful, the spa is impressive, and the indoor and outdoor heated pools were excellent. The kids’ areas are very well thought out, our son loved the interactive trampoline, and we also enjoyed spending time in the football area. Food was generally good. Breakfast was very good, dinner was also very good, while lunch was more average with somewhat limited variety. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, although they often seemed quite busy. The only real drawback for us was the dinner timing. We had to finish dinner by 8:30pm, which felt quite restrictive. In practice, this meant going down around 7:45pm and rushing through the meal. Considering lunch runs until 2pm and facilities are open until 7pm, starting dinner at 6:30pm is quite early, especially with young kids. It would have been much nicer if dinner extended to around 9:30pm, allowing for a more relaxed pace and time to enjoy a glass of wine. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel, particularly for families with young children.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

After reading some not so favorable reviews, I was hesitant to come here. But... the welcome was warm. The receptionists were all so smiling and accommodating to every request and question. After reading some not so favorable reviews, I was hesitant to come here. But... the welcome was warm. The receptionists were all so smiling and accommodating to every request and question. The waiters and all service members are so polite, helpful, and serviceful. The room is is great. All the premises are so kept up ,modern and clean. I am more than pleasantly surprised. I have bothered Alexandra, the manager,on several occasions, and she is so eager to help and to please. I don't have children and was concerned about that aspect bothering me here, but no. There is space for everyone and their needs. I can highly recommend the Schneeberg Hotel and no one asked me to do that.

“Can't agree to the good reviews”

We stayed there for 1 week in July. The hotel has its pros, but definitely also its cons. Pros: The adults only area is great and quite new. Especially, the saunas and the adults only swimming pool are great. The child playground in the basement is huge and offers a lot. Cons: The food is very poor… lisää

We stayed there for 1 week in July. The hotel has its pros, but definitely also its cons. Pros: The adults only area is great and quite new. Especially, the saunas and the adults only swimming pool are great. The child playground in the basement is huge and offers a lot. Cons: The food is very poor, especially given its in Southern Tirol, which generally is known for great food. For example during breakfast they offer some very poor choice of cheese and it seems like they purchase it from a discounter, as its not delicious at all and presented very poorly. For lunch they always offer some noodles with tomato sauce or minced meat, which is not bad per se, but not for 1 whole week! I mean why not some carbonara or pesto sauce? And one particular point to mention is that for lunch all people need to eat in a very small area, given most of the space which is available during breakfast and dinner is closed. Thus, it's extremely crowded during lunch, noisy and the staff is totally overstrained. For dinner, they always offer the very same salads. I mean I don't mind the same salads but they only offer very simple ones (e.g., grated carrots, green salad) without any toppings (i.e., no tomato-mozzarella salad, no rice salad etc.). There would be so many options but they absolutely go with the minimum. Then, the swimming area generally is big but the number of sunbeds isn't and so we had to sit on the floor several times. This might be because the weather wasn't always nice but for a hotel pretending to be top notch there should be enough sunbeds and space inside as well. The kids playground in the basement is huge but they don't care about the simple things, for example the kids toys were lacking batteries all time. We informed the reception several times but nothing changed. So, in essence besides the great adults only area we can't confirm some of the great reviews here. It seems the hotel might want to save costs after corona, but that goes along some very serious detriments. Therefore, we can't recommend this hotel at all!
