Olin 2 yötä hotellissa ja se oli erittäin hyvä kokemus. Ensimmäisellä hetkellä henkilökunta (Chiara-niminen tyttö) oli erittäin ystävällinen ja auttoi minua hyvien ravintoloiden suosituksissa. Hinta on hyvin kohtuullinen ja aamiainen on riittävä. Lisäksi sillä on hyvä sijainti. Hissi on pieni, mutta kun matkustin yksin, se ei ollut ongelma. Näkymä huoneestani oli hämmästyttävää. WiFi on hyvä nopeus. Ehdottomasti olisin takaisin.

“Charming...”

I'll go along with the other reviewers and call the hotel charming. It is built directly into the ancient walls of Assisi. I'll go along with the other reviewers and call the hotel charming. It is built directly into the ancient walls of Assisi. The hotel wasn't horrible, but it would not be my first choice in the Assisi area. (I was with a high school group of 80+ people and had no choice in the matter.) The key situation is a bit unsettling. They expect you to give back your key when you leave the hotel. The keys are then hung up behind the front desk. This is potentially dangerous because people can easily tell if you are in your room or not. My group took over the entire hotel so I wasn't as worried, but if strangers weren't around I would be a bit hesitant to give it back. There is one elevator in the hotel and it is teeny tiny. It was literally the size of a phone booth. Location: Great. The views were beautiful. Take the time to walk to the end of the block to view the sunset. It is very close to the Basilica of St. Francis and places to eat. Wifi: Surprisingly good and free Room: Basic. From what I understand, many of the rooms had different set ups. My room did not have a tub and the shower was very small. It may have been smaller than a cruise ship cabin's shower to give you some perspective. My room did not have a bidet but some rooms did. My room had a television that could not connect to any channels but any other rooms did not have a tv at all. The beds were not very comfortable but after touring all day, it doesn't matter as much. The walls are super thin. I found myself whispering to make sure people outside the room didn't hear me. Please note that there are no safes in the rooms. ATM: None at the hotel. I had to walk about a half mile UPHILL to find one. Now keep in mind I had no idea where I was going. The natives just pointed and told me to go to the "Piazza del Comune" so I kept walking and asking until I reached it. Breakfast: It was decent. They had frittatas, croissants, cereal, yogurt, salami, prosciutto, cheese, and cereal bars. Those are just the items I can remember off the top of my head. Overall, it is not what an American traveler is used to. If you keep an open mind, it is not so bad. You may actually find the hotel to be charming as well.
