Booked a short break to visit Lake Garda with a friend. The hotel was basic but clean with a good shower in each of our rooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Booked a short break to visit Lake Garda with a friend. The hotel was basic but clean with a good shower in each of our rooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We asked about places to visit nearby and were told about some local places that were well worth the drive. There was a self service continental breakfast in the mornings, and the food in the restaurant in the evenings was nice, although we ate out most of the time to try different places. We had views of the lake, but this was between the buildings opposite which were right on the water. A good base to visit the different towns and attractions around Lake Garda. Would stay again.

“a great place for a great Lake Garda stay”

we stayed here for 6 days. the hotel is small and very well run. we stayed here for 6 days. the hotel is small and very well run. Breakfast every day lavish and in the end we ate in restaurant every night - the food was good and modestly priced and we had a lovely view of the port from the dining room balcony. our room (on the roof terrrace) was fairly small but comfortable and good bathroom. from the terrace we had great views of the lake and the amazing mountains directly behind. Claudia and her family were so helpful and welcoming - Claudia kindly arranged for us to have haircuts at her hairdresser and drove us there! I can highly recommend that too, both for the cut and the amazing position of the salon. we enjoyed walks up and down the lake on the terrific footpath with lots of strategic places for swimming, coffee and most important of all the daily spritz. we used the local bus and ferry services to make excursions up and down and across the lake excellent although a tad on the expensive side

“friendly family run hotel in a great location”

I spent three enjoyable days at the Hotel Sorriso; the family running it could not have been more friendly or hospitable, and the breakfasts were very good. I spent three enjoyable days at the Hotel Sorriso; the family running it could not have been more friendly or hospitable, and the breakfasts were very good. We also had meals in the hotel restaurant - excellent food and wine. I really enjoyed the location - right across the street from the lake, and I had a view of the lake from my room window (and a balcony). the rooms were not fancy but they were clean and comfortable. (if you aren't used to some road noise, ear plugs might be advisable as the hotel is next to a road). Excellent value for money; I would not hesitate to go back..

We stayed in Hotel Sorriso with our 8 month old daughter for a week. The hotel is small but has everything you need. The hospitality was amazing! The lady and her husband who run the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Every morning at breakfast the highchair for our baby girl was already out and at our table. The rooms were basic but clean. Beds comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. We had a lovely view of the lake from our room. A travel cot was provided for us as well and all bed linen changed every day. The breakfast was very good with lots on offer and a different selection of foods each day. The hotel is quiet with fantastic access to the lake. We rented a car and there was parking available for hotel guests - it is a bit of a tight squeeze though. The restaurant in the hotel is wonderful as well, lovely fresh food and so reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone on a budget who wants to visit the beautiful Lake Garda.
