We stayed as a family of 3 in this hotel for a week in July. I could not recommend enough this hotel for the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, they are all extremely helpful and efficient. The room where we stayed was pretty small but had everything we needed with plenty of storage. The beds were very comfortable and the change of towels and cleaning of the room was absolute of a high standard. The nice size swimming pool was clean with a lovely garden/bar area where you can sit and relax with a drink. We had initially booked half board accommodation but once we had our first meal at their sister hotel Mar del Plata (only a 3 mins walk) we decided to change to the full board! Top-class dishes, fresh and variety every day, table service, and salad buffet on display. Breakfast was served at Hotel ai Pini and again, there was so much choice from continental breakfast to English, not to mention the freshly baked cakes and croissants! The beach is conveniently within short walking distance from the hotel and we made excellent use of the well-maintained bikes the hotel has on offer. Highly recommended if you want to visit Grado town centre and surroundings. The cycle routes are fabulous. The only slight issue was the seawater. Unfortunately, during our stay, we experienced some seaweeds/algae on the shore. However, we tried another beach further ahead near the town centre and the water there was clear. Finally, the hotel is located in a very tranquil and green (pineta) area of Grado with some cafe's and a few restaurants. If you wish to have a relaxing and quiet stay, this is the place for you. The pretty and historic town centre is only 3km away if you wish to head for some shopping and more dining experience.

“Value for money”

Have stayed at this hotel for two days. Very nice. The hotel staff is very friendly and serviceminded. Private parking at the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Pool area, outdoor restaurant. Covid19 actions in place. Couldn't be better. Lovely place. And just 100 m to the beach.

“Italian bath hotel”

We enjoyed the stay much due to the included dinners. For us used to (and avoided) Scandinavian so so boards this was a joy. Not fancy but tasty. Rooms well planned but somewhat dated. No elevator. We enjoyed the stay much due to the included dinners. For us used to (and avoided) Scandinavian so so boards this was a joy. Not fancy but tasty. Rooms well planned but somewhat dated. No elevator. Pool and well kept garden. Close to beach (sandy, ok but not great). Outside Grado which means it is nice and calm. Easy to rent bikes and go into Center. Grado is very good for biking.
