Sadly no time to use cycles provided or take boat trip, however found great restaurant 'Gialla' on via Marina and enjoyed an excellent breakfast and morning Grappa on Hotel terrace. really enjoyed

We had a short break in Alla Città di Trieste last weekend and came back home with amazing experience regarding this Hotel. First of all, we would like to mention amazing, super friendly, nice, always but I mean always at your service (via email, telephone, what's up....) stuff. Starting from Matteo, Emilio, other front desk and breakfast serving co-workers. If you would stay in Alla Città di Trieste you can definitely count on all possible support and help from the stuff 24/7. For example, by organizing a park place for you, delivering some insider information about appropriate restaurant according to your criteria, booking a table for you. Due to the strong wind, the window covers in the room close to our room, were not fixed i. e. were rather loud as they have crashed into the windows repeatedly. After short telephone call it was fixed by front desk co-worker within a minute! Position& Facility Only one minut by walk to the Old Town. Hotel facility is not the newest one, but still quite OK. Our two-bed room was big enough for us, clean (every day cleaning serice included) and sunny. Classic room properties such as: AC, TV, wireless connection, hair dryer, safe etc. all included. Hotel offers rent a bike option and has a nice garden in front of it too. Breakfats Super delicious including also Italian products! From our personal point of view, we could strongly recommend Alla Città di Trieste as a first choice Hotel in Grado! Grazie Mille dear Alla Città di Trieste!

“Small hotel with friendly staff, but small rooms”

For one week this hotel was our home. We wanted to go to a small and quiet town. We found this in Grado! The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk from the beaches. For one week this hotel was our home. We wanted to go to a small and quiet town. We found this in Grado! The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk from the beaches. We ended up Using the stairs down to the rocks and straight into the water. It was free and it was ok to sit on the rocks before and after the swim. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. We got a room on 2.nd floor. It had no chair and we missed that! The room was cleaned each day. The Breakfast was good with all what you need, even good bread, cereial and fruits. We had room towards the harbour and street, but it was not noicy. However the sound from other guests in the corridor and the stairs was sometimes disturbing, especially early in the morning.

We had three nights at Hotel alla Citta di Trieste in Grado. The town is beautiful and we had a great time with really warm and nice weather. We had three nights at Hotel alla Citta di Trieste in Grado. The town is beautiful and we had a great time with really warm and nice weather. The hotel was more a place to take a shower, sleep and eat breakfast. Not much more than that.. First of all, there are never staff in the reception. And if the are staff around, it dosent seem like they are working or doing anything. They dont know anything either - I asked when the check-out time was...noone knew! And make sure to bring your key with you, or place it on the right hook yourself, because the staff wont do it. We left our key at the desk while one of the staff were sitting there. We came back after one hour, and the key were still on the desk were we had left it! But, we did feel safe Our room were on the 4th floor. Ok sized room with a tiny, tiny window. not more like 0,5 x 0,5 meter in size... Clean sheets and towels. Room and bathroom were clean too, but it seems like they dont bother cleaning dust as often as they should at obvious places.. We didnt get shampoo for more than one day...didnt bother to ask for more from a staff who we never saw.. The breakfast were ok; meat, cheese, cereal and fruit. One morning we came right after a small bus of hungry Germans! After 15 minutes they had emty everything on the small buffet. The breakfast-guy worked his butt off to find some food for the rest of us staying at the hotel. He was the only person at the hotel who was working and doing his best! The hotel have a restaurant - we didnt try it. Parking; They dont have parking at the hotel at all, you have to park in the streets. There is a short-term parking in front of the hotel, but thats not an option for a longer stay. Grado is a very nice town, the hotel is 5-10 minutes waking close to both beaches. So if you can live some major issues, the hotel works ok. Grado is anyway a nice place.
