“Clean, comfortable and cheap!”

Hotel has the best location, close to Mestre Train Station and using via public transport, you can easy to arrive Venezia center. Room was clean, comfortable and has relaxable bed. It is also close to supermarkets, tobacco shops, cozy caffee shops and restaurants. I recommend.

Tämä hotelli on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä bussilla Venetsian kaupunkiin, joka on noin 9 km päässä. Vietin 3 yötä ja kaikki oli mukavaa, siistiä ja mukavaa. Nurkan takana on supermarket ja ravintolat, baarit ovat helpon kävelymatkan päässä.

Everything was fine -- the check-in process went smoothly and cheerfully even though I was a little late in arriving, and there was no hassle in my departure early the next day. The room and the bathroom were spotless. I did not use the AC as the weather was unseasonably cool but the proprietor showed me how it worked and it did function well during that brief demonstration. The property seemed secure, with a separate key to a deadbolt lock required just to get into the building. The door to the hallway did not block much noise, but there are not many rooms in the property and my fellow guests were respectfully quiet. The location is convenient enough. It's a straightforward 20-minute walk away from the Venezia-Mestre railway station up Via Piave. The mostly commercial neighbourhood is not particularly charming but I did not feel at all unsafe (and I did walk around after dark) -- there were people about, but everyone seemed to mind his own business. If you are coming from the airport, look for the ACTV bus number 15. It goes right down Via Piave and is the same EUR8.00 price as the ATVO "Mestre Railway express" bus service, which takes a different route. If you do end up with an ATVO ticket, get off at the first stop on Corso del Popolo -- it's the first stop that that bus makes after leaving the airport, and you can be sure that someone else will be getting off there too. That first ATVO stop is not as close to the property as is the ACTV stop, but it's still closer than walking from the railway station itself. Bottom line: This is a solid choice for low-maintenance travellers. I have previously stayed in Mestre closer to the train station (Caponi Brothers) and this property was both cheaper and nicer.
