A very well run hotel that cater primarily for ‘outdoors’ visitors, excellent spa facilities and the food and service is 5* Rooms are excellent and well furnished with comfy beds. The breakfast buffet is yummy with so much variety. Evening meals are of excellent quality and presentation. Afternoon coffee and Apfelstrudel is a must. I hired an e-mountain bike and the service I received was 100% I wanted to come back on 2 weeks time but they are fully booked.

“Excellent hotel!”

For a short ski holiday my son and I stayed 5 days in this hotel. The hotel had been completely refurbished in 2016. In short, for those looking for a nice and not too big hotel in Au, this hotel is really recommended!!

We enjoyed this hotel very much. It is a uniuqe and quaint place that understands the aspect of the human connection in the hospitality business. The menu and atmosphere make it a fine dining expereince. The sauna landscape is one of the best that we have been to. If you are into Mtn. Biking or hiking the lifts are included in the hotel pass of you stay three night I believe. They also have daily excursions from the hotel or Mtn. Biking tours.

“Couldn't ask for more”

Stayed for 6 nights and the hotel is absolutely lovely. We stayed in room Bergblüh, which is spacious and comfortable, with nice design. The beds were very comfortable. Stayed for 6 nights and the hotel is absolutely lovely. We stayed in room Bergblüh, which is spacious and comfortable, with nice design. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were super friendly in a very sincere way and great and flexible when we needed to make changes to our booking at short notice. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of meats, cheeses, breads and local milk, butter and yoghurt a with a changing daily addition of things like smoothies or waffles. Dinner was 4 courses. A great salad buffet to start, soup and a choice of three courses followed by a dessert. The food was excellent, nice choices, and portions were just right. The wellness area was great too, especially the relaxing 'beds'. Great place to spend some relaxing time after a strenuous walk. We stayed with our dog, who was made welcome in bar and room (not restaurant and wellness), which was ok with us and as expected but just writing it as info for future visitors. As we stayed more than 3 nights we received the Bregenzer Wald Card for free which was very useful for activities and cable cars. Would highly recommend and if we come back to this part of Austria would definitely want to come back.
