“The perfect hotel for our family christmas holiday.”

We had a lovely week here over christmas. Everything was perfect, the food was lovely, breakfast was the best and evening meals were always different and delicious. Rooms were cosy and clean. I had read reviews before we travelled and seen there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and knowing i would want a hot cuppa when getting in from the snow i bought a foldable electric kettle before travelling, which worked perfect for a hot coffee in the room. The host and all her staff (especially her dog) were all friendly and very helpful. We would deffinatly return to the beautiful hotel. The location was also ideal.

2nd year we’ve stayed here. Fantastic warm atmosphere , great staff and importantly very dog friendly which Skye our golden retriever appreciated! Drove from England and it feels home from home! Great bar with skiers and locals . Food is excellent with good choice . Need to book for evenings as place is in demand!! Staff and Eva the owner are very welcoming .( even fed Skye the dog!!) Great location, right in the town square. Ski bus stop is just outside the hotel and frequent services to Schlossalmbahn. Hotel has been totally redecorated. Great location, right in the town square. Ski bus stop is just outside the hotel and frequent services to Schlossalmbahn. Hotel has been totally redecorated. Now a modern look with emphasis on healthy eating, living and wellness. Ground floor is mainly the restaurant and bar with a small lounge area. First floor is the library/common room. Fifth floor is the sauna, rooftop garden (yoga). Rooms are good size, comfy beds and enough storage. Plenty of sockets for chargers. A small table, two chairs and glasses, with yet more chairs and table on the balcony. TV has Austrian and other international news channels. Bathroom is functional but dated, towels are changed on requests. Breakfast has a good selection of cold cut, cheese, and bread. There is a juicer (carrots and apple) and plenty of orange juice. Coffee machine does very good coffee. Hot food is good (fried eggs, sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs). A good selection of pastry too (slightly under-baked). Dinner is a 3 courses international theme. Curry and middle east nights are good. Asian night could be better. Friday is Austrian night. Portion is on the small size for skiing holiday. There is a bread station with various olive oil and salt for dipping. Preferred to have a salad bar instead.
