We stayed for on.y one night when visiting the Red Bull Ring for driver training. The hotel is a converted castle and the old courtyard is now enclosed and where the reception is. Rooms are comfortable but small if you are in the top floor (and there are many changing levels so not that easy with cases to get to your room). Bed was comfortable despite being two single beds pushed together. Ensuite was what you would expect for a hotel of this standard. There is no kettle in the room though. Dinner and breakfast was very nice, with on-demand hot cooked dishes as well as cold buffet selection. Overall perfect stay.

“Charming and cozy hotel”

I spent 2 nights in this amazing hotel. It is a real castle which has been converted into a stylish hotel while keeping its historical design and magic. Single rooms are very small. Check-in was fast. Breakfast buffet was super tasty. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

The couple of kilometres leading up to Schloss Gabelhofen are rather unprepossessing, as you circle an industrial estate, but once you get nearer you realise what a fine building this is. The couple of kilometres leading up to Schloss Gabelhofen are rather unprepossessing, as you circle an industrial estate, but once you get nearer you realise what a fine building this is. The public areas are very grand (and possibly slightly intimidating), but the staff were extremely welcoming. Our room was enormous and well equipped, but I can imagine that the rather provocative artwork might not be to everybody's taste. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, as was evening meal - properly served by very professional waiters. Be careful with the apple sorbet in potato schnapps; they don't stint with the alcohol!

The Hotel is very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant very good, with very tasty food. The wine list is long and comprehensive. The Hotel is very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant very good, with very tasty food. The wine list is long and comprehensive. However, they served a warm white wine, which was not acceptable. The rooms are of good size and bathroom well sorted with nice showers. WiFi is very weak and that’s a problem. Parking is a bit away from Hotel, but No help offered with luggage. The Hotel Lobby can be a bit loud and you hear people talking in your room.
