This is our third stay at a hotel under the Kinderhotel umbrella, and this was by far and away the best experience yet. We have a 5 year old girl and a 3 year old boy, so the engagement level of the Kids Club is extremely important. This is where the Laderhof exceeds where the others have come up short. Firstly, we are English speakers, and as these are very German centric resorts, there will always be a bit of a language barrier, especially for the children. No matter, the inclusion of our children was always there, with even stories being told to them seperately in English when required so they wouldn't miss out. A special mention must go to Anna at the Kids Club who made our children's stay very special. Another thing the Kids Club done brilliantly was getting the children outdoors, and letting them walk the hotel alpacas, guide them on themed walks in the local area, and conduct a treasure hunt arounf the lake in Ladis village. There was none of the 'Glorified Creche' that we've experienced at other more expensive and upmarket Kinderhotels. For the hotel, we stayed in the Ladi Suite - we can't fault it. Nice and simple, with lovely modern bathroom and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room for all of us. Delicious food served every night, and not a single complaint from our usually fussy children as their buffet was always perfect - as was the self-serivce ice cream. Only downside? Ladis is at the far end of the gondola network and it can take a bit of time to get across to Fiss and beyond, but with a bit of planning that isn't really a problem. I can't recommend this hotel enough. All credit to the Ebner family and their brilliant staff. This place is a gem.

This hotel provided the best service I have ever experienced, with or without my family, all the staff truly care about your enjoyment first and foremost. Clean, well managed, with excellent food and facilities. The best example of the hotel I can give is when my son fell and split his head open in the cafe area. No one was at fault, just bad luck as my son played with other kids. The staff were all superb appearing out of nowhere with first aid kits, calling an ambulance, mopping up blood, making sure other kids were ok etc. When my wife left the excellent local hospital shortly afterwards, with my son carrying two new teddies (standard practice for kids apparently) Claudia the manager was mortified that we paid for our own taxi back and we didn’t automatically call her for a lift. This is typical of Claudia and her husband who are ever present at the hotel and muck in every manner imaginable (for example driving shuttle buses to the gondola and back so the kids can have a nice warm lunch at the hotel with their families and get back to lessons). The facilities are also first rate. The pool is lovely and the gym, whilst small, is surprisingly well kitted out, good enough for my wife (ex champion weight lifter and international rugby player). The little touches are great too, a fully stocked games cupboard left open to all and a fleet of buggies and rucksacks to transport your wee ones. Excellent food all around (see photos). The most refreshing aspect of our stay was that we never felt the staff provided good service to receive a tip, they seemed to genuinely care about your enjoyment and your families well being. As a typical Brit I don’t speak German (another area the staff generously assisted me in my ignorance) so I will quote instead another famous Austrian in closing…’I’ll be back!’

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Special mention to the chef for the amazing meals! Plus, the location is ideal for easy access to the ski station. Highly recommended!”

We liked the Hotel Laderhof very much. We stayed there with 2 kids (2 & 4 years old). They liked the Kids club a lot and the hotel is not too big. The staff is friendly and the owner Claudia Ebner is super friendly and service oriented. We stayed there for a week and the suite was roomy and had all facilities we needed. The breakfast offers a lot to choose from and the dinner is fine as well. Good to have a choice for the next day, although the offerings for vegetarians are limited. The afternoon snack is not of high quality, but it's nice that there is some food to take before the dinner starts. Our kids loved the swimming pool as well and it's never crowded. There is a bus shuttle from the hotel to the cable car in Ladis. It's a 10 min walk, but the bus is faster (goes in the morning and afternoon till 16.15h). There is a locker available in the ski depot which is great. The only real issue was the Wifi which is way too slow for today's requirements. We highly recommend the hotel as a nice stay for a week to go skiing or any other outdoor sports.
