Hit the Sky is not your standard ski hotel! The styling is great, there are plenty of large comfy seats to relax in after skiing and the dinning room area is also very spacious. The food here is excellent and service from the staff was fantastic. Location is great, ski in and out. St Christoph is a small and quiet village. There is not much happening here but there is a bus that runs in to St Anton. We got this several times during the week. Special mention to Phillip who went above and beyond for us during the week. Suggestions for the hotel - 1. The breakfast options can get a bit samey when here for a week. A few different options each day would have been nice. 2. There is no apres in St Christoph, the hotel bar area is lovely but very quiet when you first get back from skiing. A happy hour with some music would have been great. 3. There is a nice big swimming pool with lovely views of the mountains but we only used it once because it was cold. I would stay at this hotel again and would also recommend it to anyone looking to book.

“A great funky ski hotel.”

Probably one of the best but affordable ski hotels I've stayed in in 25 years. Really funky interior design in the public areas. We (a group of 10 'lads') stayed half board. Probably one of the best but affordable ski hotels I've stayed in in 25 years. Really funky interior design in the public areas. We (a group of 10 'lads') stayed half board. Breakfast was buffet style but with a selection cooked breakfast as an included option. The omelettes were great! The 3 course evening menu is limited to a handful of choices on each course but the menu changed daily and the food was great. Really tasty and generous (but not stupid) proportions. So good that we insisted on meeting the chef and buying him a pint! The highlight is the staff who were generally brilliant. Efficient, friendly and effective. Good spa facilities, sauna and pool, and others reported a really nice professional massage to ease aching legs. Rooms are functional and compact but that's fine in my view. Beds comfortable. Bathroom was very nice, large, clean and modern. Only slight negative point I have it the staff didn't sign off drinks tabs frequently enough leaving a few unallocated drinks tabs at the end of the stay. Following our comments this might change and not enough to mark them down from 5* The added bonus is that the Hotel is in St Christoph, some 300m above St Anton and snow conditions were noticeably better than the lower bigger cousin. You can definitely ski down to the door. Skiing out meant a short walk to the small button then down to the main chair but easy enough. 2 ski hire places very close too. The hotel has a very well equipped ski store with heated room code boot racks and ski racks. The Hotel bar was good and some great bars and other hotels if you wanted to stray into the village. 40 Euro (2024 prices) gets you a taxi minbus to St Anton if you want. St Anton was heaving when we were there and frankly we preferred to stay in St Christoph anyway.

“Nice, quiet hotel. ”

Not your typical Austrian hotel but nice. Attractive lobby/bar area with lots of comfy seats. Decorated with what looks a raid on TK Maxx, lots of fun had with that!!! Food was good, and the options each evening and breakfast was fine. Coffee machines are included during breakfast, but outside of breakfast we got charged for using the exact same machine, which we thought was a bit out of order. Rooms were comfortable with good shower etc. Location was quiet, with one bar open on the opposite slope. But excellent ski to door with a decent blue run down from the main area. I would recommend this place.
