“Comfortable and pleasant hotel in a great location”

The hotel is in a great location, it's an easy walk to the JR Station and the waterfront, shops, restaurants, the Nebuta Museum WA RASSE and the Maritime Museum. The hotel is in a great location, it's an easy walk to the JR Station and the waterfront, shops, restaurants, the Nebuta Museum WA RASSE and the Maritime Museum. It's a very scenic area and my room had a good view including the sea, mountains, bridge, and nearby buildings. It wasn't a spacious room, but comfortable and well-designed, with attractive wood and some nice old-fashioned elements. There was a good amount of clothes hanging space as well as two large drawers. Pyjamas were provided. There was a decent-sized desk with conveniently placed power sockets, fridge, electric jug, mugs and glasses, tea and coffee. The first screen of the tv had useful info and the tv guide was a bonus as not all hotels provide that. One thing I hadn't encountered before (this was my eighth trip to Japan) was that staff were apparently not allowed to fill out the luggage forwarding form for guests. Everywhere else I've stayed, a staff member has completed the form. Perhaps they had something go wrong sometime and decided it would be better for guests to fill out the form. The staff were helpful however, using a translation device. One of them wrote out the characters in Japanese so I just had to copy them onto the form. Bit tricky as I suffer from mild Essential Tremor, but the suitcase arrived at the next hotel so I guess I did ok!

“Retro feel deco and yummiest fried scallop (breakfast)!”

It has a retro deco at the lobby, the restaurant, and the hotel is about 5 min walk to Nebula Museum & A Factory. The room is typical Japan room, small and compact. It has a retro deco at the lobby, the restaurant, and the hotel is about 5 min walk to Nebula Museum & A Factory. The room is typical Japan room, small and compact. Though we find the room somewhat a bit dusty and a bit colder than other hotels (without the heat on aircon unit on). Perhaps it is Aomori (and it is colder). The staff is not fluent in English and the older staff at front desk use translation app to communicate with us on matters we need help with. Overall service is good. We love the breakfast because it has the yummiest fried scallop we tasted (and only hotel who served this) this trip.

“Excellent location, nothing fancy but comfortable”

While the hotel may look a bit dated, it offers clean and comfortable rooms, within 10 minutes' walk to the train station and the popular shops for souvenirs. When checking-in, it was a nice surprised to be offered a flyer that gives access to their A Lounge for a drink and some sweets. If one… lisää

While the hotel may look a bit dated, it offers clean and comfortable rooms, within 10 minutes' walk to the train station and the popular shops for souvenirs. When checking-in, it was a nice surprised to be offered a flyer that gives access to their A Lounge for a drink and some sweets. If one is not pressed for time, I highly recommend taking a morning stroll along the waterfront that will lead to the train station for the magnificent view.

“A pleasant stay”

We last stayed here nearly eight years ago, and whilst it hasn't been renovated, it's spotlessly clean and well maintained and we had a pleasant two nights. The location is great - an easy walk anywhere, and staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing to rave about, but an easy stay.
