Overall a comfortable stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available, mostly Japanese breakfast but they do offer pastries, eggs and some other western style options. Room is smaller than American hotels but that’s not uncommon, worked well for me. The hotel is about 900m walk from the train station, depending on which route you take. There are not many restaurants immediately around the hotel, but there plenty if you head toward the station at about 1/2 km, many shops also

“Nice hotel”

The hotel is quite nice and well situated. The sento at the top of the building is a great thing and I love going there after a walking day. The staff is friendly even though they don.t speak English and can seems to avoid contact to avoid confusion. But I don’t speak Japanese neither so.... Breakf… lisää

“Great Hotel.”

Stayed here because there were no hotels available in Hiroshima during the time that we wanted to book. We used Fukuyama as a hub to get around the area and it was a pleasant surprise. Stayed here because there were no hotels available in Hiroshima during the time that we wanted to book. We used Fukuyama as a hub to get around the area and it was a pleasant surprise. We went to Okayama, the Sake area, Hiroshima, and Miyajima from this train station with our Tokyo Rail Pass. We would stay here again. The train station is within walking distance and there is also a bus that stops close to the hotel.

“Excellent top floor bath”

Overall a very typical hotel, however this hotel in particular had a fantastic view of the city of Fukuyama from inside of a hot bath on the top floor of the building! That alone made the hotel worth it. Everything else was very good, a nice bed, decent breakfast, and the staff did their best to s… lisää

Overall a very typical hotel, however this hotel in particular had a fantastic view of the city of Fukuyama from inside of a hot bath on the top floor of the building! That alone made the hotel worth it. Everything else was very good, a nice bed, decent breakfast, and the staff did their best to speak Nihonglish with me. One downside is it's a bit of a walk from Fukuyama station. Also to note, the reception desk is on the second floor and as a result the entrance doesn't look so obvious, just a room with elevators.

We stayed here one night and were surprised by the low quality of service. We have come to expect much more in Japan. The staff was unable to recommend a restaurant for us for dinner. They would not provide additional linens (ie towel) for our infant without a fee which to me seems absurd. The loo… lisää

They would not provide additional linens (ie towel) for our infant without a fee which to me seems absurd. The look of the hotel and room are nice but the level of service is poor
