“wonderful ryokan”
This is a wonderful "ryokan". The lobby and the corridors should win prizes for interior design. “Small hotel with traditional rooms with amazing onsens.”
We wanted to experience the traditional hotel stay with onsens and this was the perfect place. The hotel from outside doesn’t look like a hotel as it is 2 storey building. “Traditional stay with in-room dinner served”
Each guest room will have a personal attendant who helped to serve dinner and attend to you needs. The dinner was good, portion was generous. Onsen was cosy and nice. “Excellent Kaiseki dinner”
In conjunction with hakodate culinary institute, a kaiseiki dinner was arranged that was impressive. Beautiful seasonal produce was used to produce a memorable experience. “A delight”
Up-market traditional Japanese Inn. I’m sure those who are used to such places will find it more than satisfactory. It provides a very pleasant atmosphere and good facilities eg the Onsen.
