Love the colorful interior. The hotel looks modern and quirky. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor. No security on the 1st floor. Love the colorful interior. The hotel looks modern and quirky. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor. No security on the 1st floor. You need to tap your room key to go up beyond 2nd floor which is a huge relief. The closest metro station is only 5 mins walk. Ginza department stores are within walking distances. There are few convenient stores nearby. The disappointing parts? The breakfast options were limited. No coffee machine, only premade black coffee served in a container. Tried their freshly made onigiri but it was so bland. I skipped breakfast on the 2nd day. Another disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. I opted for a linen change. I found my bed was made, the sheets were clean but the glass that I used the night before wasn’t cleaned. If you are sensitive to noise, beware of the train noise. I didn’t really mind about the noise though.

Very convenient location in the middle of Ginza. Rooms are spacious for Japanese standards and modern. Good bath room. Very convenient location in the middle of Ginza. Rooms are spacious for Japanese standards and modern. Good bath room. You are close to all the restaurants and shops in Ginza, metro, etc. Could not have chosen a better location. The less attractive part: - reception, English is very average and they do not really try to help with anything - please avoid the breakfast on the ground floor, it is really bad and there are enough cafe options around the hotel for a quick and good breakfast.

This is my second stay at The Royal Park Hotel Ginza, and while the hotel itself is well located, I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk service. While I was out, I tried to make a reservation at a small local izakaya (Gochisoya), but due to the language barrier I called the hotel to ask for assistance. I was surprised to be told that the hotel could not make the reservation because of potential cancellation fees, and that I would need to sign a form in person before they could even call. I explained that I was fully committed to the reservation and even offered to guarantee it with my credit card, but no flexibility or solution was offered at that moment. After insisting, I was asked to call back and then informed the restaurant was fully booked, with a possible time at 9:00 PM. Later, I was told there was no availability at all. However, I went directly to the restaurant myself shortly after and was able to secure a reservation without any issue. This situation was quite frustrating and disappointing, especially considering this is my second stay at the hotel. I would expect a higher level of service and willingness to assist guests, particularly international travelers facing language barriers in Japan. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the level of hospitality I expected.
