Amazing experience. It looks like a pretty new and well maintained property. I was travelling with my parents and they were skeptical of staying at a 3/4 star property but believe me this is a 5 star experience. 100% one of the best stays I had across Japan. The location is perfect, very close to Kanazawa station. there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants (both chains and local) walkable from here. The hotel has free access to a coffee machine and soda/ soft drinks the entire time, and free access to certain alcoholic beverages from 11 am to 8 pm for all hotel guests. the service is amazing, staff is friendly and helpfull. There is a full stocked kitchenette in the room and most of basic kitchen utensils are available. I didnt try their breakfast because I liked to cook it myself in my room. I would definitely stay here again.

“Highy Recommended - convenient, quiet, clean, good amenities”

Perfect location for getting around Kanazawa, as it is right next to the train station with all the food courts, shopping, etc., but without the noise you usually get in cities. Perfect location for getting around Kanazawa, as it is right next to the train station with all the food courts, shopping, etc., but without the noise you usually get in cities. We booked a suite as we were staying for just over a week and wanted more space with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. Room was perfectly clean, spacious, all cooking amenities provided, and everything was restocked every day. Staff helpful with booking restaurants and other queries. e used the same day and next day laundry service which was excellent, but there is a guest laundry if you prefer that. Gym available, but we didn't use it. Only issue for us was that there were no proper gluten-free options in the breakfast buffet, e.g. yoghurt and GF bread. Having been to Japan previously, I was prepared for this with my own bread, oats, etc., but it meant that I would have been paying 22AUD per day to eat there with mostly my own food. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to others.

This is an updated review after revisiting a year later. I stayed in March-2026. The staff remains as friendly and wonderful as ever. I stayed in a Studio Twin last time, but this time I booked a Kitchen Suite. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly spacious. However, there was less clothing storage compared to the studio, so I struggled a bit with organizing my clothes. What surprised me was the breakfast. The variety of food had decreased by about a whole table's worth compared to a year ago (March-2025), and the menu was exactly the same for all four days of my stay. Furthermore, breakfast used to be complimentary for Hyatt members, but now it is paid. If they are going to charge for it, I strongly feel that they absolutely need to improve the menu. Lastly, the mini-supermarket on the first floor of the hotel has closed, so you now have to walk to the Kanazawa Station building to find a supermarket or convenience store.

It’s clean and centrally located, and rooms are huge (well, mine was). Front desk staff was helpful. Only downside, and I’m taking off two stars for this because I slept so poorly: AC cannot be lowered past 20 C / 68 F. There are no rooms with windows that open. Only downside, and I’m taking off two stars for this because I slept so poorly: AC cannot be lowered past 20 C / 68 F. There are no rooms with windows that open. Even though the staff gave me a fan when I requested it, it didn’t help much to cool down the room. Good thing I only stayed 2 nights or I would’ve been miserable from lack of sleep.
