Stayed as part of first ever trip to Japan. Room was very comfortable and comparable in size to what I am used to in the United States. Staff was very friendly and observant. Stayed as part of first ever trip to Japan. Room was very comfortable and comparable in size to what I am used to in the United States. Staff was very friendly and observant. We did not speak Japanese and they knew little english, but they did an excellent job of discerning our needs. I do recommend having a Japanese phrase book if you do not speak Japanese. The breakfast buffet was excellent - offering a variety of food & drinks (Juices, Coffee, Tea). The downtown location allowed local points of interest to be easily reached by foot, local transit or taxi. I did have to get used to the low beds in Japan. The bed was big enough for my big & Tall frame.

We stayed in this hotel during the festival. It is about 15 minute walk from the train station. The room is spacious, very comfortable. There is no coffee making facilities in the room, perhaps because of the Starbucks below. It was easy to walk from there to festival area and to the multitude of r… lisää

We stayed in this hotel during the festival. It is about 15 minute walk from the train station. The room is spacious, very comfortable. There is no coffee making facilities in the room, perhaps because of the Starbucks below. It was easy to walk from there to festival area and to the multitude of restaurants downtown (it was hard, though, to find a seat).

“Sumptuous breakfast”

We enjoyed the breakfast with good spread. Croissants were buttery and crispy, almond bean curd and red bean dumpling was tasty, Vegatable salad was fresh, and many more. All 5 of us enjoyed it so much. Bed was low yet very comfortable. Good business hotel.

The room was surprisingly spacious and the beds slept far better than I expected. We could see bits of the old castle walls and sakura blooms from our window. The only drawback was our inability to cool down the room, the control for the air did nothing, so we had to open the window, which meant we heard the traffic crossing signals beeping which is an annoyance when you're trying to sleep. The included breakfast buffet was great - lots of choice and most excellent coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was plenty of room to work your way around the serving tables. We were within blocks of the old castle park and the incredible display of sakura /cherry blossoms - quite handy given we went during the day as well as for the night lighting. The entrance looks as if you are going into the Starbucks, but the front desk is just to the left after you go in. The wi-fi always had a strong signal and we had no problem connecting to it.
