We stayed on the 7th floor in the “ western style side “ , view to Mt. Fuji side. In the early morning you can see the Mt. Fuji. The room quite big compare to similar hotels in Tokyo. We arrive near the lake and called the reception and they quickly picked up us. Also in the morning the have a shuttle bus . The staff very helpful and friendly. The dinner buffet was delicious with a great selection of traditional Japanese food. The breakfast they provided also a buffet western and traditional food . It was just as good as well. The rooms haven’t WiFi . Only at lobby. Free of charge also the spa and sauna. Both very clean. We relaxing in the spa with view to Mt. Fuji. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This hotel is well located in the Hankone area. The hotel is quite old but this is compensated by the beautiful view on the Fuji mountain (8th floor). This hotel is well located in the Hankone area. The hotel is quite old but this is compensated by the beautiful view on the Fuji mountain (8th floor). The hotel offers a good sauna and hot spring pool. The rooms don't have wifi, only at the hotel lobby. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel especially of the quiet and beautiful Hakone area and not far from mount Fuji.

“Average hotel with picturesque views of Mt. Fuji”

At most 3 stars but what it lacks is made up with morning uninterrupted views of Fuji San. The hotel is dated and worn but is only 1 hour from the base of Mount Fuji. At most 3 stars but what it lacks is made up with morning uninterrupted views of Fuji San. The hotel is dated and worn but is only 1 hour from the base of Mount Fuji. The hotel has a bowling alley and onsen located on the 7th and 8th floor of the hotel which provides spectacular views of the city and Mount Fuji. The dinner buffet was brilliant with wonderful selection of traditional Japanese food. The morning buffet was just as good as well. The room was very basic with a small hard bed, there was no thermostat control for the room which was slightly annoying but at 6am when you open the window there are some wonderful picturesque views. If you are on a budget in the area and you are looking to set up camp before tackling Mount Fuji - you can't go wrong

The hotel is actually two hotels connected by a common lobby and conference area. The western-style rooms are reportedly very nice, according to my friends. The hotel is actually two hotels connected by a common lobby and conference area. The western-style rooms are reportedly very nice, according to my friends. I, however, stayed in the traditional Japanese tatami style rooms. It was clean, but it came straight out of 1960. The decor was old, the curtains were torn to shreds, my friends' room had a severe mold problem. (They were able to move to the western style rooms.) Do NOT choose the tatami rooms; stay in the western-style tower!
