Beautiful Hilton located in Yokohama next door to the K-Arena. Easy walk from the Yokohama train station, but you may want to message the hotel and ask them for specific walking directions. Between taking the correct exit from the train station and then utilizing sidewalks or pedestrian skywalk bridges or underground passages can be confusing. The rooms are outstanding! Newly remodeled look and feel. Mattress, pillows, bedding and bath linens are excellent. The shower is a large walk-in with plenty of room and a full closing door (no silly half-doors here). The bath area is loaded with amenities. The executive lounge is also beautiful and with many beverage options. The evening foods are quite nice. The daytime offerings are just cookies & sweets (no nuts or crackers etc). Morning breakfast in the restaurant is expansive with Western and Asian offerings. My only comment here is that large portions are placed into the serving dishes, which means the tray doesn't turn over as often, and you're likely going to get cold food. I'd recommend the hotel place less in the dishes and bring out fresh/hot foods more often. (Cold food often results in plate waste.) The staff are extremely well trained in customer service. The Japanese have service delivery down to an art and could train most of the rest of the world on how to do it right! I would certainly staff here again in the future!

The stay was fine. It felt like a fairly typical Hilton experience. The view was spectacular. The upgrade process was somewhat curious. I was informed that an upgrade had been arranged. In practice it meant a room a few floors higher. I was also told that if I planned to check out early the following day a higher floor upgrade might be possible at that time. The staff explained this quite carefully and I appreciate the effort. At the same time the explanation felt slightly more elaborate than the upgrade itself. The hotel is comfortable enough. I simply expected a somewhat smoother experience. As a Diamond member I generally expect upgrades to be handled more straightforwardly when availability exists. I understand that practices in Japan may be more conservative in this regard.

The hotel is modern, clean, and well-equipped, with comfortable rooms and contemporary amenities. It is located about a 15-minute walk, or a 10-minute ride, from Yokohama Station. However, to meet the expectations of an international luxury hotel, the property would benefit from having more English-speaking staff at the front desk and in the breakfast restaurant. Communication challenges can affect the overall guest experience. Additionally, the guest registration process could be improved, as a more efficient system would make check-in and check-out smoother and more productive for guests. Overall, it is a pleasant stay with room for refinement in service efficiency and language support.
