Easy to get to from Tokyo. Easy (and short) walk from the train station with luggage. Google maps took us straight there with no problem. We were able to store our bags until check in, which they had taken up to our room already when we returned. Check in was digital and super easy (available in english). Many food options nearby! Food in the station, the shopping center, and the market right next to the hotel. Small, but functional room. Good bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to exchange bills for coins to use in the laundry machines at the front desk. Ice machine the lobby, which made my mother very happy. Lots of free toiletries available in the lobby. No need to buy water as the tap water tastes great. Cute area to wander and explore.

“Okay, but do not stay here unless it is cheap”

This is a perfectly decent hotel, but there is no reason why it should be number one in the area. Rooms are so minuscule that there is no room for two people to get into a suitcase at once. For some reason I no longer comprehend, we paid well over $100 in advance to stay here.

We almost turned around and left, as we had booked four rooms for our party of 7 people and one room was smelly. The hotel says no smoking but the one room stunk of smoke. We almost turned around and left, as we had booked four rooms for our party of 7 people and one room was smelly. The hotel says no smoking but the one room stunk of smoke. Staff were very helpful and apologetic, and came up to help clear out the smell which made it a little more bearable. Two nights were spent in these small tight rooms but this suited our travel plans and budget. Our rooms came with a small breakfast included but only from their cafe with a limited choice of yoghurt parfait or croquet Monsieur or bacon and eggs. The room very small with two people and it's a crowd in the room. The double bed fitted in and only one side table. The room does not really allow for spending time in. But if you're here to sightsee and you want a base to shower and sleep and convenient to shops and transport, then we found it adequate for our needs with all your basic amenities if a little cosy.
