“Excellent stay, friendly staff on reception. Good amenities”
Excellent hotel in great location. Close to Gion and train stations. The rooms are excellent size and comfortable beds. Rooms in Japan are generally small but this was perfect for a 5 night stay. “Favourite Hotel of Our Japan Trip – 10/10 Stay”

“Comfortable hotel, good value.”
Lovely new fresh rooms on the smaller size. Beds were big but the pillows could be better. When asked if we could have another, none were available. Best shower we've had in Japan on our trip so big plus. Downside was that the TV was NOT a smart TV so nothing for international visitors to watch o… lisää

“Nice and clean stay at Kyoto”
The overall is good, just the location is quite a distance to the metro station. The reception only have staff on duty between 1pm - 10pm, if really need assistance from staff can walk down a bit to their another hotel. You may get the amenities outside the room on every floor.
