I really enjoy my stay. the hotel is quiet. There's a 7-eleven across the way. and you're close to two subway stations (one of which is the Kyoto Station; it took me 10 min to walk). With Kyoto Station being right there it was very convenient for me to travel to and from Osaka and to take other JR lines to other cities like Nara / Kobe. For the price and location, this hotel got everything you need. I really like the lobby area where you can hang out and heat up food. they even provide beverage machines. You can get a variety of different drinks. They had water (hot/cold), tea, milk tea, matcha latte, coffee, grape juice / soda, and more. You also get two bottled water in your room each day. The room is big enough for two people. Compared to many other hotels in japan, this hotel room is quite spacious. The bathroom is a bit small but we have no complaints about it. We expect the room to be small as this is in Japan. We also expected that we won't be spending much time in the room anyway - the room is only to sleep. The majority of our day is outside exploring. We felt very safe in this hotel as well as in this neighborhood.

“Solid stay”

This hotel is around 10 minutes away from the station (walking) and we really liked the location. It was quiet at night and we slept well there. This hotel is around 10 minutes away from the station (walking) and we really liked the location. It was quiet at night and we slept well there. Yes, the room is not that big, but it was enough for the two of us. We delibaretly travelled to Kyoto without that much luggage, so it was totally okay for us. The bathroom is also on the smaller side, but again, worked well for us. It could have been a bit cleaner as there was a bit of dust, but it was rather high up, do I didn't mind it at all. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby area also offers plenty to drink for free and is a great spot to sit and unwind after a long day. There's a 7Eleven right across the street and a lot of good cafés close by. There's also a bus stop that's not far from the hotel.

“An average experience”

Having never been to Japan could be just wasn't ready for it but room was small for 3 people, the room had a 3rd bed added which took the space up. The bathroom was snug. All three of us being adults as well made it tricky. Hotel didn't have a restaurant but there is a 7/11 across the street. … lisää

Having never been to Japan could be just wasn't ready for it but room was small for 3 people, the room had a 3rd bed added which took the space up. The bathroom was snug. All three of us being adults as well made it tricky. Hotel didn't have a restaurant but there is a 7/11 across the street. It does offer free drinks both hot & cold to those that stay. The biggest issue was the moisture from sleeping and the room ventilation didn't clear it and the window was wet every morning literally water on the window and sill amazed there wasn't mould to be fair. Also abit of walk to Kyoto train station of about 20-30 min. Wasn't as many restaurants as expected in neighbourhood.
