“Large Rooms Convenient Location”
Stayed during a work assignment. The room I stayed in was very good size with a full bathroom including tub. Breakfast buffet is good with a variety of choices. “Nice hotel by the waterfront”
Stayed one night to be close to the cruise terminal where we were to embark for a cruise around southern Japan. The hotel is very comfortable, and we asked for a water view, which was lovely. “Good seafront hotel”
Stayed for a week in the Mare Takata. This hotel is definitely a step up from the standard business hotel. It's located on the bay of Maizuru and my room had a great view of the seafront and ferry terminal. The room was very spacious for Japan. The buffet breakfast was excellent, lots of variety… lisää

“Nice Hotel”
Been here twice, great views of the harbor! Rooms where well maintained and the service was good. A bit of a language barrier if you don't speak Japanese but we were in Japan after all. A good choice for the traveler and close to the Navy Base if you happen to be heading there. Yes the jacuzzi tubs… lisää

“Great rooms - excellent restaurant.”
I've been coming to Hotel Mare Takata for almost 10 years - that's how much I enjoy it. The rooms are very well fitted out, with views over the harbour, or the mountains, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are big, by Japanese standards.
