“A very special place”
The ideal place to stay for a couple with a higher budget. Traditional ryokan, with western beds, and western seating during meals. Strong recommend. Top notch service, very calming and exclusive ambience. Beautiful surroundings and decor

“The time stands still at Monjusou Shourotei”
This is a truly magical place. The time stands still while you enjoy every detail of the traditional room design and the beauty of the japanese garden with the quite Asoumi sea in the background. Together with the peaceful atmosphere around Amanohashidate the stay brings a deep rest to your soul.

“Perfect location & superb ryokan in Amanohashidate”
Amazing 5 star ryokan with top notch service. Lots of privacy! Smart TV in the room with Netflix was a surprise bonus! We love the tatami mat room with the beautiful and calming view of the river.
