For our two nights here, we stayed in a traditional Japanese room. It was very spacious and had an incredible view of the ocean. Dinner buffet was 8,000JPY/per person. The buffet was very good, with lots of variety, even for vegetarians/vegans. Breakfast buffet was 3,400JPY/per person. Staff was very friendly and helpful. English is limited, but it wasn’t a problem using our Google Translate to communicate. Highly recommended.

“Old but still nice”

The location is a little far from anywhere else. No convinient public transport means. But we drove so it's fine. The location is a little far from anywhere else. No convinient public transport means. But we drove so it's fine. But do take note of the Google map directions as one of the options would lead you to an u passable road. Overall the accommodation was OK. The rooms could do with a spruce up as the fittings and furnishings are dated, brings you back to the 80s kinda feel, but we got an upgrade to a junior suite which gives us ample space for all 4 if us. The lobby was big and spacious. The gift store opens only for a few hours a day. The free flow lounge for guests are great for some alcohol and snacks serving as a wind down after a day out. The breakfast menu was unchanged for my entire stay there. Imagine having to see the same choices after 5 days. It can get crowded as there are tonnes of tourists groups mainly from Taiwan who would push and shove you to get to the food. Luckily with my All Accor platinum status, I got a reserved seat by the window every morning. Except for the first morning when a very unhappy male staff insisted that I be seated at a separate far end room on a table of 2 when there are 4 of us. The highlight would be the Onsen. It's nice, big and clean. The only time when I was disappointed when a Singaporean guest brought in his 3 kids who were screaming and playing in an otherwise peaceful setting. Nevertheless, I ended all my evenings with a nice dip in the indoor and outdoor pools.

“Amazing onsen and ocean views!”

This was a great place to stay - one of the best hotel onsens I've ever been to! And the view of the ocean from my room was incredible. I loved sitting out on the deck every morning and evening. This was a great place to stay - one of the best hotel onsens I've ever been to! And the view of the ocean from my room was incredible. I loved sitting out on the deck every morning and evening. The restaurant inside of the hotel was also great, as well as the breakfast! The staff were also super friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my TV one evening around 11pm, I called the front desk and someone immediately came up to help me and said to let them know anytime if I had trouble again! The same person was working the front desk the next morning and asked if things went well - the little check in makes a big difference! The *only* downside was that the wifi in my room nor in the lobby worked, and my room had a bit of a smokey smell. But otherwise, wonderful little retreat.

This large hotel is under the Daiwa Group, and has two golf courses. Apparently, many golf tournaments are held here every year. The rooms themselves are pretty large as well. Most people get here by car, and most of the people staying here were Japanese, didn't see any foreigners when we visited. … lisää

This large hotel is under the Daiwa Group, and has two golf courses. Apparently, many golf tournaments are held here every year. The rooms themselves are pretty large as well. Most people get here by car, and most of the people staying here were Japanese, didn't see any foreigners when we visited. The hotel has indoor and outdoor onsen, as well as an outdoor pool for use in summer only. They also have a souvenir shop with a Sakamoto Ryoma (local hero) costume photo corner, where guests can dress up as Ryoma. A popular souvenir for the area is Imo Kenpi, long sweet potato chips which are pretty delicious. The hotel also has a spa center and several Japanese or Western restaurants. For dinner, we had a Western meal. The food was a fusion, several courses, delicious and very filling!
