“Classic design but still a good stay”

Though this hotel is classic in design on their furniture, somehow it still provides a good stay overall. Spacious rooms among other hotels in Kyushu. 15mins walk to Kumamoto Castle and shopping streets. Rooms are clean and breakfast are good.

This is a very outdated hotel, even though it's located across the Sakura Machi mall, a bus terminal and a 10-minute walking distance to Kumamoto Castle and Josaien. This is a very outdated hotel, even though it's located across the Sakura Machi mall, a bus terminal and a 10-minute walking distance to Kumamoto Castle and Josaien. The staff were very helpful when we informed that there was a problem with our room's aircon. So they gave us another room which was slightly bigger. But, the aircon was surely troublesome, it kept turning on and off all the time. The bed was very old, hard and making noises when we moved our body. It was a very outdated spring bed. The bathroom was a bit moldy and rusty, even though it's quite clean. There's also a retro electric water jug.

Directions: From Kumamoto Station, Take tram A line to Keitokukomae or Karashimacho station / bus terminal area. A short walk using gps of initial 10 mins will reach the hotel. Service : Good and friendly. Hotel staff were able to answer enquiries in basic english. Check-in and Check out were of minimal fuss. Daily clean up or room service was ok. Value : Ok. Booked via expedia. Comparable pricing (plus minus) with various hotel agents sites. Wifi: Free in room. Decent Wifi signal. Room : Level 8 room. Double Room. 1 Double Bed. Non-smoking room. Window view was wall of neigbouring building. Room was tigher side and limited space for two person and 2 medium luggages. TV was ok, local channels (never use, just check if working). Heater worked ok. Electric Kettle. A small Fridge was available under the desk. Tiny toilet/bathroom space. Aircon worked but temperature control was tricky, sometimes do not correlate to one's setting. Food: Did not try. Booking was without breakfast. Sleep Quality: Good. No serious disturbance. Cleanliness: Good. No major issue. Swimming Pool /Gym: Not aware Location: Good. Walkable and close to/from tram stations, bus terminal and shopping area. Overall : Stayed 3 nights.. OK Budget stay in general.

Short walk from bus terminal. Quite a long walk from tram station if you prefer to go there via tram like we did. Room provides basic necessity ---- clean enough but could do better tidying it up a little more. Reception staff are friendly and very helpful. Short walk to Kumamoto Castle area and souveneir shopping could be done at the nearby Sakuranobaba Joshaien or Shimotori Shotengai. There is a nearby 711 --- around 250 meters away. Value for money.

“Compact hotel with breakfaat.”

Nest Hotel Kumamoto has Standard Service Room with breakfast. Bathroom is too small but fine. Car park you must pay 1000¥ per night.Only compact car can park in building. You can go to shopping street by walk 750 mrter. There are also no far from Kumamoto Castle.
