“Trip through H.I.S. Package bus tour”
We had an excellent opportunity to walk around Shinshu area of Nagano, Japan through help from H.I.S. that has enabled us to stay this excellent hotel facility for one night. “Ryokan in the mountain”
I came here with the tour group by the bus. The hotel is located in the mountain near Matsumoto so it may not as convenient if travel by train. “hotel at the foot of Mt Hotaka”
The hotel is a bit old and quite far from town. The room is big. It's only accessible by car. It's located to the east of Mt Jonen and Chogatake. It serves as a good starting point to hike Mt Jonen and Chogatake and onto Hotaka mountain range.

“beautiful scenery but old rooms”
I think it's quite common for rooms in this area to be old-ish but the hotel itself was very clean with helpful staff. The onsen was quite nice although the outdoor part is quite small and tend to be cramped. the best thing about this hotel is definitely the view! even just looking out the window … lisää
