“Great Hotel near Nagano Station”

Pros: - Modern internal decoration. - 2-3 mins walk from hotel car park. - Closed to JR station, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. - Reasonable price and room size.

“Good place to crash ”

I travelled solo with a foldable bicycle and needed a basic place for 2 nights to rest after a day of riding in the country side. The place fit the bill, tiny but clean room with a firm bed. I travelled solo with a foldable bicycle and needed a basic place for 2 nights to rest after a day of riding in the country side. The place fit the bill, tiny but clean room with a firm bed. The stuff as friendly and spoke some English. The hotel is very conveniently located 3 minute walk from the JR Station, which was quite handy for meals. I'm an early riser so for breakfast it was handy to have a hot bowl of soba noddles with mushrooms at the station. Overall great value for the money and totally adequate for my basic needs.

The breakfast restaurant is very small and the breakfast offerings are somewhat limited, although the quality and freshness of the food is high. At times, people had the wait to get a table for breakfast or eat in their room. Secondly, the price point is a bit high given how simple this hotel is, in comparison to other places in Japan. I think the price would be more reasonable if it were reduced by 10-20%. Overall, a decent hotel.
