“Great dinner menus”
With most other accommodation sold out by August the year before, this hotel checked all my boxes except for one drawback being on the tallest spot in town- you have to walk a bit downhill and then up again to access the Hikage ski area( 25 mins walk including using the Yu Road). “Well Located Well Maintained Hotel”
We stayed four nights during a ski holiday in January. Followed a 25 minutes of shuttle bus transfer from the Ilyma train station, another 10~12 minutes walk to arrive at the hotel. “Charming and Delightful”
Stayed in the traditional room with an outdoor private onsen. The onsen has a wonderful view of the snow capped mountain. The room is spacious and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 young children. “Good views, at the top of town ”
This was suggested to us by our travel agent as the better place to stay in Nozawa. It was OK and comfortable enough.
