“Superb onsen hotel in Yudanaka”

We stayed one night in Biyu No Yado. The staff were always very helpful. The traditional Japanese rooms with the tatami mats took some getting used to but they provided lots of explanation. We changed into the robes and slippers they provided which you can wear around the hotel and to the onset. The dinner and breakfast was provided in the 8th floor restaurant. It was such a fun experience with loads of food. The tables were lower than normal but we were still sitting on normal chairs. You have to tell the restaurant when you would like dinner as there were 2 sittings. The public onsen is in the basement and is split into men and women. There is also a private onsen on the top floor at an extra cost which can be reserved for up to 3 people for 40mins. Both require you to wash before using and to enter naked. They also arranged to take us to the Snow Monkey park, held on to our luggage whilst we were there and collected us to take us to the station. Superb service and hotel!

“Amazing experience”

Amazing experience ! The staff was very caring and helpful. The hotel is clean, modern and with all necessary amendities. Our room had a view on the snow peaks. We had the breakfast and the dinner included, no word, just delicious ! There is also a very nice onsen in the hotel, we stayed 1 months … lisää

Amazing experience ! The staff was very caring and helpful. The hotel is clean, modern and with all necessary amendities. Our room had a view on the snow peaks. We had the breakfast and the dinner included, no word, just delicious ! There is also a very nice onsen in the hotel, we stayed 1 months in japan, and it was the best one. The hotel is located at 5 min drive from Jigokudani and you have some parks around to see the cherry blossoms in spring. Also many restaurants for those who don’t have a meal plan, and a very big siems store nearby for shopping lovers :) We would definitely come back for our next trip, thanks again for one of our best experience in the country!

I really enjoyed my time here at this hotel. From the traditional way the rooms are set up, to the traditional meals that are delicious and elegantly prepared for us. I really enjoyed my time here at this hotel. From the traditional way the rooms are set up, to the traditional meals that are delicious and elegantly prepared for us. Breakfast and dinner were included in the package. Their rooftop onsen provided a relaxing and calm atmosphere too. It snowed one of the nights we were up there and it had set the perfect vibe. :) They also have a public bathhouse for the rest of the guests to use as well. They also offer a shuttle to see the snow monkeys and to the ski resort. The hotel team was very friendly and prompt as well. I hope to make this a yearly visit because the experience was worthwhile.
