“Has all the basic amenities”
Has all basic amenities as expected of a Japanese chain hotel but decor and furniture is dated. My only gripe is that the toilet seat is not heated in winter!

“Well placed for all Niigata sights”
This is a business hotel with conference facilities. We stayed for 2 nights. Not many westerners seem to stay in this area. Room is clean, average size and all as you would expect from a hotel of this category. Breakfast is quite good: better options are the Japanese offering. Lovely fresh lychees … lisää

“Clean and Central”
nice clean central hotel. Nothing fancy. Rooms good size for Japan. Restaurant average but fine. Lots of usual Japanese fare outside. Ok for a night enroute to Akita. Make sure you visit "the old Saito residence" which is not far. The hotel staff had no idea where it was but the taxi drivers knew. … lisää

“An unremarkable but adequate hotel for overnight stay near the station”
This hotel was near the station and offered adequate facilities. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed other than to serve buffet breakfast. Also no bottled water was provided within room (we were directed to the dispensing machine by the front desk staff) which might just possibly have been to m… lisää

“Reasonable hotel for a stay”
This hotel is quite dated. Room was clean but small. Lots of eateries and convenience store nearby, near the station. Stayed during winter and there was too much static. Nice that they have free hot drinks.
