The hotel is very well placed to explore Okinawa, and also has plenty to keep a family occupied without travelling at all! It was a great base for a family holiday, with two pools (one inside and one outside), and it runs along the beach, with a supervised roped-off safe area for swimming or using the large inflatable play-park. There is also good, easily available beach/sea that is not supervised, and there are sea-sports available to book from the hotel. The hotel has a shop and convenience store, good restaurants, children’s activities, a laundry room, parking over the road, etc etc. Breakfast was self-service - offering a good range of foods. We had one evening meal in the hotel - again offering a good range. We did not eat at any of the other restaurants in the hotel, but they seemed popular. Eating out of the hotel does require transport unless you are comfortable with a substantial stroll, but there are a couple of convenience stores within easy walking distance (in addition to the very convenient one in the hotel). We had comfortable, nicely maintained rooms overlooking the beach, provided with tea-making facilities and a good selection of bathroom essentials. It was our second stay at this hotel, and it lived up to our memory of a large, comfortable hotel with delightful, helpful staff who were very patient with our lack of Japanese!

“1970s Vibe”

There are a number of large resorts along the coastline just a short walk from each other. This one's beach wasn't particularly memorable and its neighbouring resorts have done a much better job with their stretch of waterfront. Upon entering the lobby, I thought I was brought back to the 1970s. Staff spoke English and was very courteous, checking me in fairly quickly and giving a good run-down on the resort's facilities and night-time cultural show. I was a bit surprised the corridors had very low ceilings although my room was huge. The decor screamed from the 1970s but was well-maintained and clean. It's a bit overrun by kids and I headed to breakfast very early to beat the crowds. Their Japanese buffet breakfast had a good selection of fish to make your own sashmi don.

“Good but outdated, needs more care”

The resort is clearly a winner when it comes to value for price - especially for families with small kids. Still, we will not come back for the 2nd time. The resort is clearly a winner when it comes to value for price - especially for families with small kids. Still, we will not come back for the 2nd time. We are a family of 4 and stayed one week end of October 2025. Pros: - Great swimming facilities with big indoor pool, outdoor pool and ocean beach front gives a lot of opportunity independently from the weather - big choice at breakfast buffet with seating options inside and outside incl. ocean view - car rental service (2 companies) on site convenient shop at 1F with reasonable prices - Delicious Japanese and Western food at the restaurants with good quality very friendly staff Cons: - The resort was built in 1993 and needs updates / renovations in a lot of areas. The floors Matt’s, elevators, public toilets, outside facilities are worn down. Just the nice restaurant area (buffet) seems to be renovated not a long time ago - Everything costs extra - swimming rings, water toys, public bath, etc. - The Gym is a joke - it seems like an old ad-on room from the BBQ restaurant, which is now filled with old, worn and defective (e.g. treadmill) equipment. It also smells like a smoky BBQ place - problem of air-condition setup? Last but not least they charge 500 JPY per person for it, absolutely not worth it. - Lunch & Dinner Restaurant food variety hardly changed during our 1 week stay, 98% of the variety was everyday the same - Safety concern: electric cables run below the water slide for the water pump, but two cables are connected together like an amateur did it - connected with tape an covered by a transparent plastic bag. Wtf.... All in all we enjoyed our vacation but would choose another hotel for our next stay on Okinawa.
