“Comfortable hotel with lovely views and great location.”

Great home base for exploring Onomichi and the bike tour. Very close to bike rentals, restaurants. Ferry and train station. Room was comfortable with lovely views. We did not have breakfast there- but ate at the restaurant for dinner. The local bakery “The Little Mermaid” is right nearby. The lobby… lisää

“Good hotel with perfect location to start the bike route”

We stayed here for one night before starting our bike trip on the Shinkansen (like many people). Room: the room is quite good. We had a very good view from our room. Service: The staff was very friendly and helped us with shipping our luggage to the next hotel so we don't have to drag it along o… lisää

We stayed here for one night before starting our bike trip on the Shinkansen (like many people). Room: the room is quite good. We had a very good view from our room. Service: The staff was very friendly and helped us with shipping our luggage to the next hotel so we don't have to drag it along our bike ride. Location: It is the perfect location to start the bike ride as it is right by a bike rental shop and one of the ferries that take you to the starting point of the route. It is also very nice to have a walk along the riverside from the hotel to the city hall.

Located right across the train station and near the ferry terminal and adjacent bicycle rental terminal, this hotel offers modern comfortable rooms at an inexpensive rate, and provides easy access to Shimanami Kaido cycling trips as well as the Onomichi Temple Walk. They have a very nice lobby facing the water and coin laundery machines + dryers.

“Difficult to fault. Should have given 5 stars”

Bright, clean and comfortable but not very Japanese (after staying in a few ryokans you may see this as a good thing). Our room had lovely views over the harbour and it’s a stones throw from the station. This makes it an ideal location for the night before cycling the Shimanami Kaido. In view of a … lisää

Bright, clean and comfortable but not very Japanese (after staying in a few ryokans you may see this as a good thing). Our room had lovely views over the harbour and it’s a stones throw from the station. This makes it an ideal location for the night before cycling the Shimanami Kaido. In view of a couple of night of impending raw fish we had pizza in the attached Italian ( well sort of) restaurant. Lovely, helpful staff but felt embarrassed by our fellow countrymen who made no attempt to communicate with them except by talking loudly and slowly.
