Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful long weekend here. The room size was a perfect fit for us—a rare find for a family in the heart of Osaka! * **Location:** The hotel is about a 13-minute walk from Umeda Station. We actually preferred this as it was much quieter and less crowded than staying right at the main station. It’s also very close to E-Street, which has endless food options. * **Technology & Convenience:** We were really impressed by the use of technology throughout the hotel. The large smart TV in the room acts as a central hub (APA Digital Information), making it easy to check hotel info and use screen mirroring. Combined with the automated check-in/out, everything felt incredibly convenient and efficient. * **The Onsen:** The onsen was a major highlight. I especially loved the open-air bath; it was so peaceful. *Note for travelers with tattoos:* I have two decently sized tattoos, so I made sure to go during slow times and was as respectful as possible. * **Food & Service:** The breakfast buffet has a huge selection. It’s at a higher price point, but definitely worth it if you’re a big breakfast eater. The staff provided excellent customer service—super friendly, helpful every day, and always smiling. Overall, this was **great value for the price during our winter stay.** We would definitely stay here again!

“A really nice modern hotel”

I spent 4 nights here on my first trip to Japan. I was on the 31st floor so had great views. The room is small - but I am under the impression that thats generally how Japanese hotels are. I was not able to sue the spa pools due to having tattoos, I anticipated this might be an issue in rural jap… lisää

I spent 4 nights here on my first trip to Japan. I was on the 31st floor so had great views. The room is small - but I am under the impression that thats generally how Japanese hotels are. I was not able to sue the spa pools due to having tattoos, I anticipated this might be an issue in rural japan but had not thought it would matter in a touristy/modern area. This was a real shame as on of the reasons I picked this hotel was because of the spa. It is a really nice modern hotel, with automated check in. There was a small fire during my stay during which we all had to evacuate. The staff managed this very calmly and relatively clearly given that being English I could not understand the bulk of the instructions, the important bits are given in English too. I would reccomend this hotel and would return if I go back to Osaka.

“Good Location, newly built and some room for improvement”

Our first time staying at this APA Hotel in Osaka, which is about 8 minutes walking away from Osaka Station. Our first time staying at this APA Hotel in Osaka, which is about 8 minutes walking away from Osaka Station. APA should give some consideration to adjusting its strict Check-in ( 3 pm) &Check-out (10 am) times. Mainly because travellers wait like 15 minutes on 6 elevators to get down, and wait again to store their luggage at the reception for check-out. On the other hand, check-in is at 3 pm, and people queue up at the check-in machines. Rooms average 15 sqm or less. Cleanliness was good throughout. However, during our stay, there was a small fire which broke out on the 18th floor, and all guests were required to exit and meet at the meeting point, around 10 pm. Emergency management needs some serious review, also given the fact have of the staff around are trainees. No international staff and rather limited English skills to make announcements to international travellers. Something Management or Corporate HQ should not dismiss or delete posts with valuable feedback.
