We had a wonderful stay at Mimaru. The staff were incredible and our family really enjoyed the larger family room after some smaller accommodation. The staff gave wonderful recommendations of places to visit, and the location was close to the action but in a quiet neighborhood. On our last day my husband unfortunately became unwell, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of, from checking what medical options were open, extending our checkout and calling our room to check in on his health. I can't thank the staff enough for their support during this time.

“Wonderful experience”

Really appreciated the cleanliness and convenient location of this aparthotel. We stayed two nights and the staff were all warm, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my husband left two passports in the safe when we departed for Kyoto and the staff were so kind to arrange for transfer of these impor… lisää

Really appreciated the cleanliness and convenient location of this aparthotel. We stayed two nights and the staff were all warm, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my husband left two passports in the safe when we departed for Kyoto and the staff were so kind to arrange for transfer of these important documents to Mimaru Kyoto for us. Couldn't describe the relief we felt and we were so grateful, and were able to continue the rest of our holiday in peace and joy. Thank you so much to the team!

“Great stay at a fantastic location in Osaka”

The location is superb - sort of in the middle of what turned out to be Osaka’s equivalent to Mayfair - think Harry Winston jewellers, Lamborghini and Ferrari dealers, countless fancy watch shops etc. all within a few hundred yards. The location is superb - sort of in the middle of what turned out to be Osaka’s equivalent to Mayfair - think Harry Winston jewellers, Lamborghini and Ferrari dealers, countless fancy watch shops etc. all within a few hundred yards. The surrounding neighbourhood is very nice with a little park just down the road and probably around a minute’s quick walk to Yotsubashi station. Shinsaibashi, on the very well connected Midosuji line, is another 5 mins walk away. The staff are all lovely and speak good English. One of them recommended taking a trip to Uji, which we hadn’t planned on but are glad we did. Only 30 mins away, lovely relaxed little city and Byodo-In temple is stunning. The rooms themselves are a very good size for a Japanese hotel and perfect for a family. We had our kids, aged 7 and 9, with us and they loved the bunk beds. Nice and clean and modern. The only thing I’d say is that the sound insulation didn’t seem to be quite as good as the Mimaru we stayed at in Tokyo. Mimaru are arguably on the more premium end of “normal” hotels in Japan i.e. we’re not talking Mandarin Oriental or Park Hyatt territory, but neither is it in the realms of APA, Sotetsu or Daiwa Roynet, but I’d say they offer pretty good value for money for families or those who simply want a bit more space, or those who want the kitchenette facilities etc. We’d definitely stay at a Mimaru again, and if we come back to Osaka we’ll almost certainly stay at this one specifically.

“Good hotel to stay”

The hotel was comfortable for our family . The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was ok 10 min walk from the Main Street
