Close to the Otsuka museum which was nice.

“Comfortable hotel close to whirlpools and Museum of Art”

We stayed in this hotel as a stopover, driving from Awaji to Shikoku. It's an onsen hotel with both Western-style beds and tatami as bedding options. There is a large carpark space behind the hotel. We stayed in this hotel as a stopover, driving from Awaji to Shikoku. It's an onsen hotel with both Western-style beds and tatami as bedding options. There is a large carpark space behind the hotel. Breakfast provided was Japanese-style and adequate, with options for rice/porridge, juice and coffee. There are limited options for food around, and had to go into Naruto City for dinner. It was a short drive of about 10 minutes to the boats going out to the whirlpools, and 5 minutes to the Otsuka Museum of Art.

“One night stay”

People come to Naruto for the whirlpools and beautiful seaside. There is also a gallery that looks amazing but was closed Mondays. It has copies of many famous works. A friendly hotel worker lent me the book. Don't be fooled by the plain front appearance of this hotel. Very nice inside. Great spaci… lisää

People come to Naruto for the whirlpools and beautiful seaside. There is also a gallery that looks amazing but was closed Mondays. It has copies of many famous works. A friendly hotel worker lent me the book. Don't be fooled by the plain front appearance of this hotel. Very nice inside. Great spacious room and lovely view. Ask for a seaside view and best to book with dinner and breakfast as the area is not close to a wide range of shops or alternative restaurants. Food was very good Japanese style. Has a great onsen (public bath) with seaside views. The location is beachfront and with a bustop out front. It's a bit of work to get into this area with trains and buses, a big wait from the nearest station or a taxi ride in our case at 2160yen (about $25 a.u.) cause we didn't want to wait an hour. There is no pick up service from the local station. I would rate it higher if this small convenience was included. The menu is fully Japanese and as I am not Japanese it is impossible for me to read it so without my Japanese wife I would simply point to the picture or text and hope for the best. I've done that before and had a bit of fun that way. At any rate in this kind of place even working out where to get off a bus isn't easy for a foreigner. No English announcements on many buses. That's just the way it is in these parts of Japan where international tourism has really taken off yet. Still it's a great hotel and with a couple of small adjustments could be better for foreign tourists. Had a good time and it was in most ways the best hotel I've ever stayed at over many trips to Japan.

I spend one day here to watch the Naruto Whirlpools. This is a newly open Japan traditional style with modern furnished Hotel. I stay in a sea view room, the room is big and beautiful with a large bath tub that you can enjoy with quite open view. The Hotel also provide hot spring. There also a souvenir shop within the Hotel. The staff which I felt is not so friendly and may need to improve. The breakfast is fixed items with less options that personally I don’t like.
