Stayed 2-nights at the APA Villa Hotel whilst traversing the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. With the combination of late arrivals and early starts it suited my requirements perfectly; budget priced and easily accessible to Toyama JR Station, as well as a variety of restaurants, etc for an evening meal. As a bonus, it was just a short walk further down the street to Toyama Castle Ruin Park for an evening stroll

“happy stay”

We stayed here for the Toyama Owara festival. Location is good - within walking distance to metro station, which has plenty of eateries. Room is very small. There is a complimentary bus ride, do ask for it at the receptionist.

1. Location: Within walking distance of the main train station. There is no shortage of convenience stores and restaurants in the vicinity. 2. Rooms: Small, but not un-typical for Japan and I did not want to pay too much. Comfortable enough and wifi works well. TV has a couple of English channels,… lisää

1. Location: Within walking distance of the main train station. There is no shortage of convenience stores and restaurants in the vicinity. 2. Rooms: Small, but not un-typical for Japan and I did not want to pay too much. Comfortable enough and wifi works well. TV has a couple of English channels, once you learn how to toggle the sound system on the remote control. 3. Staff: Polite and functional. Competent communication in English.

I booked this hotel,cause we wanted to go to Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route. If you come by JR..just walk through the left side of the pedestrian,and across the street,walk maybe 200 metres,you will find this hotel. If you come by JR..just walk through the left side of the pedestrian,and across the street,walk maybe 200 metres,you will find this hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and kind,and welcomed us very well. The room itself was very tiny,maybe it is fit for transit.
