The room is quite clean and quiet. The breakfast is very wonderful with Japanese and western cuisines. If I have the chance to visit Tsuruga, I will absolutely choose this hotel again

Just a few minutes' walk from Tsuruga Station, is the city's most modern hotel. It was designed as an affordable business hotel, but is suitable for all. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff did not have very good English, but were lovely, and very helpful to my needs, offering guides on what to do around the city. The hotel has a few special touches - great views from the upper floors, a lovely sento (traditional public bath) on premises, and complimentary ramen served nightly for all guests. I arrived just before a typhoon hit, and the hotel was very secure during the evening. After checking in, I recommend hiring a bike from the Station to explore the city.

“Very convenient location”

I stayed at this hotel for a week from 3-7 Dec 2018. I had travelled from Osaka on the JR Express - the hotel was very conveniently located about 100m from the Tsuruga train station exit. The room was very small, but normal by Japanese standards. I did struggle a bit though with navigating around … lisää

I stayed at this hotel for a week from 3-7 Dec 2018. I had travelled from Osaka on the JR Express - the hotel was very conveniently located about 100m from the Tsuruga train station exit. The room was very small, but normal by Japanese standards. I did struggle a bit though with navigating around the bathroom/shower. There was not much space to hang your clothing, so you will need to live out of a suitcase when staying for more than 3 days. Staff were very friendly although I did struggle to communicate at times as my Japanese is non existent and not all staff could communicate in English. I would advise getting a good translation app.

“Near station”

We were enroute from Osaka to Toyama. We decided to stay a night at Tsuruga. The hotel is just next to the station. The town is pretty small. We had good lunch at this place 弥助寿司 that operates from lunch till dinner.
