History: Originally built and opened in 1983, re-branded in 2011, renovated in 2014. Location: Central area of Ube city. 2 blocks east Ube Shinkawa train station. Interior Décor: Renovated and facelifted since my last stay here in 2010. Building and some interior designs show age. Exterior Appearance: 15 story building in the city center. Outside view from the room I stayed at (3412): City view on the northwest side. Can see for several kilometers, yet, the view is typical regional mid-size city. Mix of residential, commercial and hill areas. Room Description: Elegant look. 2 140cm width size beds. Good sets of bath amenities. Room Size: Approximately, 50 square meters junior suite. Room Cleanness: Well renovated. Good. Bathroom: Clean and large size. Noise Insulation: Very good. Price and Value: Good Sunday night, 3-day weekend rate. Breakfast: Good all you can eat buffet featuring some local Yamaguchi food. Bed: Medium softness. Slept fine. Services: Professionally trained friendly hotel staffs.

“Best choice in Ube...”

I was in Ube for a business trip for a few days. This airport is 10 minutes from airport by taxi but you can also take the airport bus and it stops by in front of the hotel. The hotel was good at a certain level. Room was good. It was spacious enough to move around. There were a lot of restaurants … lisää

I was in Ube for a business trip for a few days. This airport is 10 minutes from airport by taxi but you can also take the airport bus and it stops by in front of the hotel. The hotel was good at a certain level. Room was good. It was spacious enough to move around. There were a lot of restaurants and convenient stores around the area. This could be the best choice if you are in Ube.

I stayed here for a few days on business and was very pleased with the room size and features. The rooms were big, the wifi worked well, and there were plenty of power outlets. I stayed here for a few days on business and was very pleased with the room size and features. The rooms were big, the wifi worked well, and there were plenty of power outlets. The staff spoke really limited English, but it didn't take much to meet my needs. The 1st floor restaurant is not excellent, but good enough. It's pretty on par with what you expect from mid-range hotel food. In an area without a ton of options, especially for westerners, this is a good option.

I've used this hotel now on three separate trips to Ube for business and always found it clean and efficient (well it is Japanese so no supervise there) We only stayed one night, Monday and as this was a holiday most local restaurants were shut, so on this occasion we used the hotel restaurant on the ground floor. The best option was the set menu at around ¥6500 not cheap but was of a vey good quality and consisted of around six dishes. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Wifi was easy to connect to and quick. Overall a very good hotel.
